They saved the day ! - Originally, we had gone through another Operator (transport and Birkenau visit) who finally let us down at the last moment... In extremis, we contacted ComFort Tours Cracow, and they saved our day! In 30m, they managed to send Dominik, who stayed with us all day long... Quality transport (7 people), attentive, little extras on site, and even during our visit in the camp, attention on our return with 7 food boxes for all of us. Dominik was considerate, discreet and extremely attentive... This operator was able to respond in a very short time, and once again soothe our immense disappointment with the previous and so cavalier operator. Thank you to all of you, and especially thank you to Dominik... (which unanimously received its well-deserved extra)... If we come back, we'll call you back... Well done!!!

WWII Jew Death Camps and Gas Chambers - Jakub provided a real life type of information about the Death Camp and Gas chambers! Even though it was raining on Apr 24 he and the group forged ahead to learn about the event of 1942-1945. I would highly recommend this tour to others that want and need to learn more about the persecution of the Jewish people! Colonel Jack Paschal, US Air Force Retired

"Must do" tour to see the reality of the holocaust - Auswitz tour with Jacob who was so knowledgeable, everything was delivered in a sensitive and genuine manner. He was desperate for everyone to grasp the full horrors of what went on here and to emphasise that similar things are happening again. Sobering but essential thing to do when visiting Krakow. Pick up was changed from 6.30 to 5.40 pick up but communication excellent and all in time. Would recommend. Did salt mines same day but due to early start and the start of second tour at 3.15, would probably recommend doing separate days if time allowed as we didn't get maximum benefit from salt mines as we're really too tired.

Couples trip to Auschwitz - The whole experience was incredible and very interesting, the transport was also very convenient and comfortable, our driver Olek was very friendly and picked us up at our hotel and had packed lunches to offer us if we needed one, he brought us to the camps and between the two camps, and home the van was very comfy and it made the experience so much easier :)

You must visit Auschwitz if you care about history. - Our driver Piotr dropped us perfectly in time for the start of the tour, and when it was over, he was waiting for us. We skipped the line for get the tickets and the ride was so confortable. The Auschwitz tour is tough. But travelling is learning, and there are tough things to learn. Eveybody knows what happened there, but experience it in person is different. A must.

Do not book with this company if you expect professionalism, a minimum of solemnity and basic respect - Do not book a tour to Aushwitz-Birkenau with this company. For this kind of visit you need a company that is professional, that you can trust and which treats you with respect, which was not the case. To me this visit was a once in a lifetime one and I was expecting professionalism given the exceptional circumstances. Sadly this was not the case. I booked the tour via the hotel and was initially quoted a price, which then went up. It clearly said on the leaflet that we would get a guided tour for the day. I assumed one was going to be assigned to our group and I was not the only one to assume so since one member of the group thought I was going to be the guide... When we got to destination we had to wait and the driver basically went up to the ticket office and bought tickets (we could have done that ourselves) and a little booklet worth 25pln because there was no English tour guide available!! My group was English speaking. We got a French guide and luckily, I speak French. But I felt guilty towards the other members of the group and tried to translate what I could but it wasn't possible after all or I would miss most of the information myself. I wanted to be part of a group and not be alone there. I wanted to be able to exchange and share and reflect. That was the point of booking a tour. Otherwise I could have gone by myself. We were told lunch would be offered to compensate (when I thought that was included in the price). I'm sorry but a sandwich cannot compensate not getting a tour guide at Auschwitz-Birkenau. I cannot believe I am having to spell it out but this is not an entertainment park. The driver was so keen to give me my sandwich after the first part of the tour that I lost my guide and the rest of the group except for one member who could not understand a word since there was no English guide, or anything that was happening. I was told by the driver that I needed to take the shuttle to Birkenau and meet them there after lunch. I did that but could never find the tour guide anymore. I tried calling the driver who told me to just go in and try and find her. Or to join another group. I later found out that this was not my driver as there was a mix-up in numbers (?!). I was still being accompanied by the member of the group who could not understand what was happening and instead of being guided by the driver had to follow me. I was feeling very stressed out by then. We both eventually found the other members of the group but I completely missed out on the second part of the tour. We all got back to Krakow and explained to the driver that we did not feel we should pay the full amount since most of the group did not get a tour guide in English and I only got half of it (and did not get the group experience I was looking for). The price seemed very steep (350 pln) for what was basically private transport and a sandwich. The driver drove off with the rest of my lunch bag and the booklet in French after repeatedly telling me in front of others that "You are French and you just take money". I think he was referring to the fact that I should be happy because luckily I got half the tour in French and that I should be satisfied. But given the circumstances and the fact we were visiting Auschwitz I found those remarks appalling and that’s an understatement. I am not sure the company understands what it’s doing and the professionalism and solemnity that is required for such a visit. It will add a layer or unnecessary disappointment when the company should have organised the tour in a way that it was barely noticeable so that we could focus on the visit instead of them.
