During your journey, witness stunning views including the Borrowdale Valley, Buttermere, Honister pass, Ullswater, and Grasmere. The tour makes numerous stops, one notable location being the Castlerigg Stone Circle, known for its scenic appeal. A friendly driver/guide will give an enlightening commentary throughout your full day tour of this breathtaking territory of lakes and mountains.
- Please arrive early as the tour cannot wait for late passengers or late trains
- Children must be over the age of 5 to travel on this tour
- There will be a designated lunch stop where you’ll be able to purchase lunch
- There are toilet stops on route
- Minimal walking is involved
- Our vehicles are not currently wheelchair accessible
- Luggage storage is available at the Windermere Information departure location

Do this first! - This was a great way to see the Lakes. The most excellent driver and guide, TIM, kept busy telling us the stories and history of the area. Highly recommend!

A great experience! - An excellent trip that gets you everywhere, adequate time for pictures, lunch, etc in the limited time available. It has great pick up locations as well and Tony the driver and guide is quite knowledgeable! A great experience - great value for money - definitely worth it!

Derek's vast and... - Derek's vast and insightful knowledge of the Lake district kept us interested throughout the day. Never lost his sense of humor in spite of his bruised arm due to a fall earlier in the day. Would recommend this trip to everyone.

Great way to see the Lake District! Highly recommend! - Stef was a fantastic guide. So knowledgeable - he knew lots of quirky details about the area including the most beautiful bus stop! I didn't have a car and this was a great way to see a good portion of the Lake District.
Even if I'd have had a car - I would have missed some of the places we went to. Highly recommend!

Lakes tour - Brilliant day from start to finish, we were picked up straight from our hotel so didn’t have to worry about trying to find the visitor centre. The tour itself covered everywhere we wanted to see and more and our tour guide Derek was great I have no idea how he manages to remember so much information about every road village town and lake. He asked us all questions about where we came from etc and had us all laughing the whole time. Plenty of stops in the best photo opportunity spots which we would have never been able to find ourselves. Also gave me and my wife recommendations for other activities around the lakes as it was our first time visiting. Very glad we booked this tour and Derek deserves a pay rise or some danger money for reversing round tiny windy almost vertical roads after meeting tractors and tourists that hadn’t a clue how to drive on narrow roads😂 He brought us back to the hotel again which we didn’t expect but was greatly appreciated

Amazing tour and guide - This is for the 10 Lakes Tour from Windermere.
Our tour was simply amazing. Our guide Stef was knowledgeable and courteous and showed passion for the tour and acknowledged each individual on the tour. Stef even assisted with our car parking situation upon our arrival at the meeting point.
The tour itself traversed through all of the major sites and villages of Lake District National Park including a few hidden gems such as Surprise View. Stef made sure all of our needs were attended to. I would highly recommend.

10 lakes tour by mountain goats - We took this tour and to our surprise it exceeded our expectations. We had a lovely tour guide called Stef who's knowledge of the local area and of the 10 lakes was enormous. We stopped of to the most beautiful spots for viewing and photos. It was a comfortable drive and a very good experience and we highly recommend the mountain goats tour.

Three very happy Sisters - Most wonderful memorable experience!
Tim was our tour guide and driver he was a great chap very informative and great humour excellent driver. Stunning scenery that we would have missed out on had we not booked this trip and certainly would not have got to some of the places without Tim’s expertise. My Sisters and I were very happy with our tour and say thank you to Tim from us for showing us all the beautifulness 😊.
