Historical and Architectural Lessons - The tour was great. The guide is super knowledgable and helpful, she doesn’t speak too quickly or too slow and is very clear. She is a massive help with directions!

Lovely Day with Golden Tour Team - I had such a lovely day in Cambridge and Oxford. The guide, Pablo, is witty and provides all the necessary information to enjoy the visits. The driver, Kee, drove us safely from London, Cambridge, Oxford, and back to London.

Nice tour to later be able to say "I’ve been there" - I chose this tour because I came to London for two concert and still wanted to explore something I hadn’t before as I‘ve been to London countless times. Since all of the other tours included places I’d already seen, exploring Cambridge and Oxford was perfect!
I knew that we wouldn’t have too much time at either of the two because of the distance from London. But this tour handles it quite well and flexibly! Our tour guide and our driver were extremely friendly and provided interesting facts, even though the long drives could’ve been used for providing even more information.
The bilinguality of the tour was convenient to take pictures while things were explained in the foreign language.

Disappointment - Let first start off by saying, what I am about to write, has no reflection on our tour guide or bus driver. They are only following Golden Tours guidelines. Both of these gentlemen where professioinal and knowledgeable. My husband and I both enjoyed hearing about the history of the two colleges.
I would not take this tour. You spend 70-75% of your time on the bus. The first place we went was Cambridge. What a beautiful college. Could have spent at least 5 hours walking around and looking and discovering the beauty of this small and quaint town. We had maybe 1hour and 30mins to look around and grab something to eat. Before we were back on the bus and headed to Oxford. Then we drove to Oxford. We had maybe 1 hour and 15 mins. I had 5mins to be able to use the restroom before we went inside the Christ Church College. Maybe walked around 20 mins before we headed back to the bus. Again, could have spent at least 5 hours wallking around and discovering the history and beauty of Oxford.
My recommendation, is take the train to either Cambridge or Oxford and spend the day at one place. Look around and take your time. You won't be disappointed.
