Great tour! - Alec was a great guide. Not only did he tell the group interesting Harry Potter facts, but he also gave us a good deal of information about Oxford University and its constituent colleges. As a PhD student at the university, he gave us an interesting perspective of student life. The tour also included entry to New College, which is an amazing place. I would be remiss also if I didn’t say that I booked for 19/12 instead of 18/12 by mistake, typical of me! But Alec had no qualms whatsoever about letting us join on 18th!

An interesting insight into the college, marginal Harry Potter content. - Our guide was a very engaging young man, knowledgable about the colleges from his experiences. My one criticism was the walk is headed Harry Potter experience. We would say it was more colleges with a tiny smattering of Harry Potter. Initially our appointment had been cancelled for 3pm and a 1pm slot suggested, I instantly accepted that and asked for confirmation. The answer came back finally 3 1/2 hours later meaning we were unsure if we could join or not - this wasn't professional we felt. Overall we enjoyed our experience.

Disappointed - I paid over 50 pounds and I thought I will be visiting a few colleges. The only one we visited was new college, which is open to public anyway. Also I saw other guides that were quizzing their guests and sharing a lot more information than our guide. Our guide was very nice but I felt that the tour was not worth 50 pounds.
