Flexible intro to Oxford for families with teens! A variety of stops that hit the most famous & “Instagrammable” places. - This was the perfect way to get a taste of the main sites of Oxford for first time visitors! Our 19 and 17 year old young adult kids enjoyed it as did my husband and I, 50-somethings. Such an economical “tour” as well that introduced us to Oxford and made us want to explore it in more depth if we ever have a chance to return. The app worked perfectly and if our internet did occasionally stop working, the app opened at the most recent site-so appreciated. Loved the discount offer at the last clue’s answer, but we were looking for food at that point and they were only serving beverages-lovely, friendly staff though, nonetheless. We would recommend this to any friends looking for a flexible way to get introduced to Oxford in one day.

A 60th birthday celebratory hunt! - We had some healthy competition (and hilarity) between our 4 teams, a lot of fun with the clues and it was great to discover some hidden gems around Oxford! And despite the weather’s beat efforts to put us off, no-one bailed!

Fun way to explore - The treasure hunt took us on a brilliant tour around Oxford and we saw things we would otherwise have missed.
A great thing to do when visiting a new city or even in a place you know well.

Fun way to see the city - We all really enjoyed solving the clues, and it made seeing the sights of Oxford a lot more interesting for our children (mix of little ones & teens). Maps and instructions showing where to go were really clear, and the clues were hard enough that we didn’t solve them immediately but not so hard that we couldn’t find any of them. Would definitely do the ones in other cities in the future.

Lovely experience - We absolutely loved this treasure hunt! We only had half a day in Oxford so it took us past all the main sights, we popped in to little shops and bars we thought were cute and had an “education” drink at the recommended pub along the way. I can highly recommend this activity.

Great introduction to Oxford. - Great way to see Oxford. We wanted to have some structure to seeing the city without a guide or a bus tour. We definitely saw parts of the city we would never have thought to venture to. The clues are challenging without being frustrating and definitely make you stop and look around. Do check out the Tavern and Covered Marked when asked to. We had 2 teens with us and the 2-2.5 hours it took was enough time. If you do this trip early you can go back to revisit the clues as in the summary I realised I hadn’t seen everything in the moment so did go back for another look.

Great way to explore the city - Great way to explore the city on our first day - took us past many of the main touristic sites. But plenty of the hidden gems aswell. We particularly liked that it wasn’t timed so we could go at our own pace and explore/absorb the beautiful city as we went around.
We stopped for lunch at Pieminster in the market, recommended!!

Great fun with a little history - I planned this as a work team activity for 12 of us, unfortunately only 8 made it so we had to mix up the teams again.
Although we bumped in the the other team a couple of times it made it a little more competitive.
Some of the clues were difficult but you could have hints if needed. For some who have lived in Oxford for many years it was great to actually learn a little history by just looking up. We were a group age ranges from 22-68, and we all found it great fun, taking in a little history, a nice birthday drink for one at an old hidden treasure at the half way point.
Would definitely do it again and would definitely recommend.
Wear good shoes (for the cobbles) take an umbrella just in case.
When we got ton one clue, one team member told us about a book store that was below a music shop, it was HUGE and never knew it was there.

A great way to see Oxford - A great way to see the sights of Oxford, we go on a regular basis and this took us to areas we'd never seen before. There were some interesting facts along the way as well, would certainly recommend it.
