I gotta see more of Oxford with this tour than venturing on my own! - Thank you Chris for leading us to so many interesting spots and sharing stories in the uni. The punting experience was also nice, despite rainy weather. Wished I could have spent more time in Oxford to explore some of the bushings inside as well.

Cambridge Must do tour - The Cambridge Walk-In Tour is a fantastic way to dive into the city’s history, and our guide Jae was outstanding. His deep knowledge and engaging storytelling made the experience both fun and informative. Jae was incredibly welcoming, making everyone feel at home. We also had the pleasure of punting with Max, who added extra charm with their humor and skill on the river. This tour, with its blend of history and fun, is highly recommended for anyone visiting Cambridge.

The guide is key to making Oxford come alive! - Our guide Frances was engaging and enthusiastic and even though there was a graduation in the library so the interior of that beautiful building was unavailable and there were a LOT of people in town, Frances got us into one of the colleges and made the whole of Oxford, the architecture and history and details, alive and accessible! I think the upfront cost is a bit high for a group walking tour; however we would have gladly tipped Frances because she was wonderful, but she said goodbye and was very quickly off! If the guides are well compensated or if the cost includes an ample tip, then the cost is okay.

Best way to learn about Cambridge! Perfect tour guides! Annie & Max were amazing! You’re in for a treat if you get them! - The personal touch of being guided by a former alumni made this the best experience. Annie showed us where she had lived as a student which was Stephen Hawkins previous home! Her knowledge was second to none. Max was our guide on our punt who clearly relished his local knowledge and told us all about the night climbers. You will have to join them both to hear all the fascinating stories!!

Great experience! - Our walking tour with Daisy was supposed to be with two other people but they didn’t show up so we had a personalized tour. Daisy was so lovely and gave us a perfect introduction to several colleges, including funny student anecdotes and examples. Finished with a beautiful funding trip on the river. Perfect tour!

Great and friedly experience - We were a small group with our lovely guide Daisy. We got a lot of information about the how the university system with the diffrent collegues is working. Our guide was a current student so we got insights into the student life there. Daisy took time to answer all our questions, it was like a tour with a friend. It was totally amazing and we can recommend the tour absolutly.

Really nice - I booked the walking and punting tour with Christ Church entrance. Ed was our guide for the walking portion of the tour, a 1st year Oxford student who did an excellent job of balancing history, local lore, and pop culture. He readily answered all of the questions posited by the group members, and was friendly and helpful. One couple arrived 10 minutes late to the tour, and he waited for them, which was gracious to them but cost the rest of the group time at the various stops. My preference would have been to start without them. The Camera was closed, but Ed got us in at the other attractions, including the Bodelian and Blackwell’s Bookstore. The Christ Church College tour was really nice, a self-guided audio tour, and I was grateful to get in given that tickets were sold out. 2 days in advance when I tried. Ed had given me sufficient information to find my way to the punting queue, though if I had not been familiar with its location prior to the tour I would have wanted a map rather than verbal instructions, as it was nearly 90 minutes away from the time he left me at CCC. The punting queue was very long, and I waited about 30 minutes for my chauffeur. The company was accepting cash only as their card readers had all broken, so the employees were fairly harried and there were some disgruntled customers. Because I was traveling solo, I had a private punting tour provided my Mac, a strapping and kind young man with aspirations for adventure and a good head on his shoulders. I enjoyed my leisurely ride on the river, thanks in great part to the stellar weather—sunny and 20°! All in all it was a lovely way to spend my afternoon.
