Devika, keep up the amazing work you are doing - The tour was amazing because of our tour guide Devika, she knows what she is doing, engaging with everyone, her presentation, knowledge, personality what made the tour worth it. Thanks a lot for that

TRUTH TOURS - The Oxford Tour was a real eye opener for me into the unpleasant history that is enshrined within skyhigh and breathtaking castles. I learnt to go beyond being marvelled by beautiful cities to questioning the historicity of the places I'm in.

Engaging and provocative - Wonderfully crafted approach to showing and explaining the "other" side of Oxford's role in UK's modern history. Engaging format where guides ask opinions and ideas of participants. Thoughtful, provocative and engaging. One of the best tours I have ever taken.

Experiencing a different side of Oxford - These tours are among my favourite activities in Oxford! The focus is very much on the uncomfortable elements of the city's past and present rather than the main touristy bits. The tours are very interactive and the guides create a safe space for everyone to voice their thoughts. Some really interesting discussions pop up in this way and I got a better context of Oxford's quirks through this process. Hidden histories was a very good tour, it was refreshing to hear stories of people who have been pretty much overlooked by history, but have been instrumental in their own ways. Definitely recommend any of the Uncomfortable Oxford tours if you want to get to know the city from a different light!

Discussion format is great - A simple idea that allows you to see the beauty of the city centre while at the same time learning stories not in mainstream history. The discussion format of the tours is really good and makes for a more interesting time than a tour led by someone with a fixed agenda. Julie, the guide was knowledgeable and engaging. I would thoroughly recommend. I intend to go on one of the other tours now.

Getting a little Unconfortable in Oxford. - Really interetsing walking tour which puts a whole new spin on Oxford! Certainly made me look differectly at the city. Would highly recommend this tour as there is a chance to discuss the issues rather than just hear about them. Liked that 'answers' were not given by the tour guides as many of the issues don't have easy answers. Guides could have been a little more polished on their delivery but definately worth the fee charged. Didn't feel uncomfortable on the tour as very friendly.

Fascinating interactive tour - We arranged an "Oxford and Empire" tour as part of a College event series. Myself and the other attendees agreed that we had learnt so much about the University and its past, as well as being left with many questions. Our guide, Cameron, was energetic and engaging throughout, and we are very grateful to him.

Great tour, worth going - Fantastic tour and learned a huge amount in a small amount of time. It's clearly very thoughtfully put together and our tour guide engaged us throughout with questions.
