This small group tour of Phang Nga Bay is perfect for families, accommodating up to 20 adult guests, despite the boat’s capacity for 42 passengers. The tour includes a visit to James Bond Island (Kho Tapu) after the crowds have dispersed. Guests can enjoy plenty of sea cave canoeing and explore hidden lagoons, with a paddle man provided for each canoe. A delightful sunset dinner is served on board. After dark, there is an opportunity to canoe into another cave to witness the bioluminescent plankton.
The spacious boat offers excellent protection from the sun or rain, ensuring a smooth ride with comfortable facilities, including clean restrooms and ample space to move around. All meals are freshly prepared and served on board.
This tour is highly family-friendly, catering to all ages and abilities.
- We are happy to have guests with special needs join us, and while wheel chair access is not available we will work with our guests to see they have a memorable, comfortable and fun time aboard. We will do our best to see special needs guests participate in all activities.

Above and beyond expectations - This was my favorite day in Phuket - we enjoyed the sunset tour of Phang Nga Bay much more than we thought we would (and we had high expectations!). I highly recommend Phuket Sail Tour's cruise. There were only 9 of us on a very comfortable big, slow boat. The small group allowed us to all become friends quickly. Jack, the main guide, was funny, informative, & personable. When we got to Phanak Island, we went into our first of 3 hidden lagoons via a cave passage from the ocean in inflatable canoes. Took my breath away: the color of the water....the height of the limestone karst cliffs, the serenity. It was quite an adventure navigating through the caves. The caves are not huge and not long before you get into the lagoon. Jack and his staff have to pay attention to the tides and schedule the order of the cave/lagoon visits, accordingly. We got to James Bond Island 45 min before closing so it was relatively uncrowded. We could walk around, take the stairs to vista points and use the restroom without rubbing shoulders with a lot of people.
The staff was very helpful in assisting 2 sixty-somethings in and out of the canoes and our paddleman was quite the character. Dinner on the boat was varied and delicious. There was plenty of water/soda and beer was available for a fee. Unfortunately, the sunset was obscured by clouds the day we went but the colors in the sky were still beautiful.
Bring a waterproof case for your cell phone or buy one there so you can take photos inside the caves and lagoons without worry.
Booking was easy, communication was great, pickup was punctual and the rest I've already detailed. This is a class act.

Nice experience to visit James Bond island - Very nice tour. There is a maximum number of 20 travelers, but we were only 8, so comfortable. Thank you captain Jack and the canoe men and the cook lady for making this day memorable.

Our favourite day in Thailand was spent with Phuket Sail Tours. We can’t wait to visit again! - We actually got to see the Bioluminescent Plankton from our 3rd canoe ride that trip throughout the limestone caves. Your provided paddle-man does all the work, entertains you, and acts as your personal guide and photographer. The kitchen staff onboard cook two amazing meals and serve them to you buffet-style. Tip your paddle-man and kitchen staff, they make the day such a unique experience for everyone and are so appreciative! This company does several different tour options so be sure to check them out! This is not a crowded party-boat. They keep the group small (20 or so adults) and are family-friendly. There were even two 18-month old babies that enjoyed the canoe rides with their parents! We cannot recommend them enough and can’t wait to visit Thailand again to try one of their other tours. By far, our favourite day this entire holiday was spent with Phuket Sail Tours.

Cool outing and very good timing until sunset. - Extraordinary landscapes in small group with nice kayak in caves and inner lagoons. Unlimited food and drink and kind companion. Delighted with the release

Above and beyond! - We booked this tour based on the fabulous reviews, and were not disappointed. Having only 20 guests meant very personalised service, plenty of room on the boat, and ease of access on and off the boat for canoeing.
The highlight truly was the canoeing into the caves and exploring the lagoons- wow!
James Bond Island is crowded and overrated, though still in a stunning location.
The food was just delicious- freshly made on board and plentiful, as were the drinks and snacks.
Unfortunately my partner became unwell during the cruise, and I cannot thank Captain Jack and the staff enough for their care and assistance. They booked a private taxi for us so we could get back to our accommodation quicker. Jack has been doing this job since 1993, and it’s clear to see why- he loves what he does!

Must do in Thailand! - One of the best tours I've ever been on! Captain Jack was fantastic! So professional and the whole crew so friendly! Only 17 of us on board, perfect size. The canoeing through the caves Was an amazing sight and the stop off at James Bond Island was great. Food on board was fantastic!

Bats, monkeys and a whole lot of rain - We want to thank Captain Jack and his fabulous crew for the great day we had on this tour. Everything was very organised and went exactly according to the itinerary. We had a very rainy day with a pretty dramatic storm in the late afternoon, but nobody let this spoil the fun. The food onboard was delicious, a light lunch and generous dinner were served, all prepared by one clever woman in a tiny kitchen space. Fruit, snacks and icy cold drinks were available all day. Best of all was the way the staff worked together to ensure the day went smoothly and that all guests had a great time. Everybody was so welcoming, friendly and helpful. I was very nervous about getting into and out of the kayaks because of some mobility problems. Jack and his team showed me how to manage it and were so patient and reassuring that I was able to participate in the kayaking despite my fears. This was a highlight of the day, the caves and the lagoon were stunning. Not to mention all the bats! And the big family of monkeys we watched on one of the little beaches. We’ve been on lots of tours in different countries and this was one of the most memorable for us. Thanks to Jack and the terrific crew for showing us Phang Nga Bay and giving us some lovely memories to take home.

Absolutely rate this as a must do, from the time we stepped onto the boat to when we docked we were really looked after. The scenery, the food, the activities to even jumping off the boat into the water - absolutely loved it. The husband and I couldn’t wipe our smiles off. It’s a must do

Best boat trip Thailand -wish we could have done AGAIN - What can we say , from professional pickup , welcome drinks and nibbles . The boat trip to the different caves and lagoons the most breath taking experience we have had , our canoe paddle man was the best , taking pictures explaining the wonders and wildlife. Food on the boat to die for best we had in Thailand! From lunch to dinner and in between!
Cold 🍺 soft drinks, water .
Mark the Captain was fantastic, all we kept saying was how lucky were we . Not heaps of people crammed into a boat like a few others we saw out on the water. We had the best time with the best crew lead by Jack !

Highly recommended! - We had an amazing day, despite the rainy weather. Excellent value for the cost.
We were lucky enough to have only a small group on board - 8 passengers in total, and a fun day was had by all.
Captain Mark and his crew are amusing, informative and helpful at all times, and our guide on the sea canoe trips took dozens of lovely photos that we will treasure.
We will definitely consider this tour again when we come back to Phuket.
