Amazing day trip - We had an incredible day visiting Phi Phi and some surrounding beaches. It was lovely to get to Railay beach earlier in the day before it became too busy. The fish and coral to see when snorkeling off the boat was fantastic, lunch on PhiPhi Don was lovely and so much food! Ana our guide was so informative, friendly and made the day along with the two other boat staff. The latter half of the boat ride out in the morning is very rough, but our kids 5 and 7 were fine once over the initial shock! The boat and all the snorkling equipment provided was so clean. Would 100% recommend.

I highly highly recommend Phuket Sail Tours - This is not the first time we’ve used Phuket Sail Tours (PST). We had such fond memories of the last trips with them (and Captain Mark) that they were the first website we went to after we booked our current trip to Phuket. PST are welcoming and well organised. From the moment that they pick you up at your hotel lobby to the minute they drop you off you know you’re in safe hands. Literally everything is arranged for you. All you need is bathers, towel, hat, sunglasses and camera - they provide you with everything else. The pickup time is early as they are one of the first boats off the pier. Our hotel’s breakfast box wasn’t that appealing but we didn’t need to worry as PST had us covered first with toasties and fruit at the waterside office and then when were onboard home style fried chicken & spring rolls. Ice cold cool drinks & water were freely available all day. Ana and the crew looked after us the entire time. The boat had two brand new 500hp engines so we were doing 30kts most of the way. It was relatively smooth but at times a bit bumpy (and scary for the younger kids). We arrived at Maya Beach well ahead of the hordes of Instagram seeking tourists. The highlights for us was the snorkelling over the reefs. The fish life was relatively abundant however the reefs were not as vibrant and alive as I remembered, suffering from coral bleaching. Ana was always pointing up clownfish or black tipped reef sharks for me to photograph. The lunch at the restaurant on Phi Phi Don was sumptuous and we got to know most of the small group of travellers from the boat. The afternoon on the beach and in the water was so relaxing. The boat ride home was much smoother that even I feel asleep. They may charge more than other cruise operators but they limit their numbers on board and take such good care of you. I highly recommend that you book with PST rather than trying any of the others, you won’t regret it.

Phi Phi Island snorkeling Day trip - Our family of 4 had a fantastic day. The crew really looked after us. From a light breakfast, great sightseeing at Maya Bay, Viking Cave, Monkey beach, a delicious Thai lunch at a restaurant on Phi Phi Don and two snorkeling stops to see colourful fish. My 13 year old daughter was classed as a child and didn't have to pay adult prices. A lot of other tour places charge 11 and 12 year olds adult prices. I would recommend booking a tour with Phuket Sail Tours. We had the best day!

Worth the price. - Highly recommend this tour if you are wanting to do day trips around the islands in Phuket. While slightly more pricy than the average tour companies, I believe it is worth every penny with what Phuket Sail Tours offers. Firstly this tour leaves earlier than most of the other tour groups, meaning you are not fighting 100s of other tourist for photos on Maya Bay. Secondly the boat is never overcrowded so the trip feels like a more private experience and everything was included such as national park entrance fees, breakfast, beach mats, delicious lunch and transfers. Not to mention we were also extremely well looked after by the staff on the boat and would like to credit our wonderful tour guide Ana who gave us a lot of info about the islands and made us feel safe whilst doing activities. Would 100% go with Phuket Sail Tours for any island trips in Phuket!

Excellent - Third time we have used phuket sail tours and wasn't disappointed. We did the phi phi islands tour by speedboat, their was only 9 in our group and our hosts were excellent and informative. Lovely buffet lunch too. Maya bay is closed at the moment to let the coral recover i think, visit included various snorkeling spots, a visit to monkey Island but stayed on the boat and free time on the beautiful bamboo island. Plenty of soft drinks and water on the boat and pick up and drop off at the hotel. A full day out and admiring the limestone rocks emerging from the ocean. Belting day out.

Great company, beautiful islands - This is a great company to tour the eastern coast of Phuket with. I give the company 5 stars. I wrote a separate review of the company itself. The Phi Phi Islands themselves are beautiful but oh, so touristy, crowded and chaotic, hence the 4 star review. Its not Phuket Sail Tour's fault. The tour we took left early in the morning to avoid larger crowds. I can't imagine how bad the crowds are later in the day given how many people were at Maya beach when we were there. It was a bit of a circus with many many boats jockeying for space where their tourists could disembark. I was afraid of getting pushed off the boardwalk that leads from the boat dock to the beach. Walking around on the beach was fine but the rest felt really crowded. Be aware that you cannot go into the water past your knees. They are trying to protect the baby sharks and the coral. The photo ops are great and Maya bay is stunning. Viking Cave and Monkey beach were also fairly crowded with boats. We viewed both from the boat. Viking cave was just an opening in the rocks but the monkeys on the beach were entertaining. The two times we snorkeled were great. They provided fins (very helpful with the current at the first stop) and nice masks. I brought my own prescription mask with me. Lots of colorful fish, starfish and coral. Some people saw baby sharks. At the second stop at Bamboo Island, someone told me to go way out to the floats furthest from the beach and I was rewarded with multiple species of baby fish swarming around me. It was incredible. I've snorkeled a lot and never been in the midst of such a nursery of colorful small fish. The lunch at a restaurant on Phi Phi Don was delicious and right on the beach. Service was excellent. Our group of 14 was divided between two tables and we had lots of lively conversations, sharing photos and laughs. As noted in previous reviews, the trip to and from the Phi Phi Islands in the speedboat was about an hour and a bit on the rough side. We were told it was not a particularly rough day but it was still pretty bumpy. I wanted to see these famous islands and really wanted to snorkel. Now that I've done it, I would choose another, less crowded location in the future. Still, the islands were extraordinarily beautiful and the water is a striking blue color.

Lovely part of the world but trip can be quite rough - Great trip. Excellent way to see a lovely part of the world. The snorkelling swimming was great - had 2 good 45min swims. The trip over can be quite rough with not ideal sitting areas on boat (can't see outside well as windows too high and facing towards each other and can't talk as engine too loud and can't move around boat as too rough). The crew provided everything for us for the day (except sick bags) including rain jackets. Transfers from our hotel worked very smoothly. Cheese toasty offered for brekky but some others got a takeaway package from their hotel. Captain Mark is a character - he doesn't volunteer much information but if you take the time to ask him questions he is a very interesting character with a wealth of information. Anna was great and was a great tour host. Maya Bay beach on Ko Phi Phil Le was really interesting by how popular it was - entertaining to see people load on and off their boats in such high swells (it was 70cm on the day we went and they will not cancel unless greater than 2 m swells. Unfortunately because of its popularity you are not allowed to swim - but there are many more opportunities during the day.

Phi Phi island speedboat tour - Boat trip to Phi Phi Low points: 50 minute each way boat ride (and other short trips) were raucous, noisy, uncomfortably bumpy, bordering on violent. We could hardly see out due to the design of the boat and having to hang on. I just closed my eyes for the entire trip. Some of my party had aches from the boat ride However I do realise that the long distance necessitates a fast boat Ladyboy performances from guide were tedious and loud and didn’t add to the experience High points: Staff were very helpful and courteous Snorkeling was fun but can be done elsewhere without the discomfort of the awful boat ride I also did the James Bond island cruise which was much nicer and relaxing where people could eat and talk along the way. If the word “speedboat” appears in the description of your tour, avoid it!
