Great day out. - My husband, almost teen daughter and myself all thoroughly enjoyed this day out. The staff were very informative and helpful. The impromptu “cabaret show” on the way home was a laugh. There was a non stop supply of drinks, fresh fruit and local biscuits and a tasty and plentiful lunch. My parents have done this trip several times, several years ago, and said it was always their favourite day out on their Phuket holidays. The only down side was all the tourist tat and pressure to buy things from vendors on James Bond island. Not the fault of the tour, but I did feel it tarnished the otherwise unspoiled natural environments we visited. Be prepared for lots of people though. Everywhere we went there were other boats arriving immediately after or before us. I think they have everyone on a roster to try and avoid too many at one time. I guess you have to expect that.

Ok - The tour was a bit rushed and a bit expensive for what you get. Not a lot of explanation of what you’re actually seeing and the English of the guide was not great. Would not book it again.

Over crowded and short - I only gave this two stars because the area we visited is outstanding and beautiful, in spite of the tour. We had some mis-communications on pick-up that led us to spend 3+ hours in taxis to get to the tour -- which is only 3 hours, plus 1 hour at the cave temple. After the long taxi rides, we were dropped at the temple cave for 30 minutes, then driven to the dock. At the dock, we were herded into a longboat with 40-50 people, shoulder to shoulder 4 wide. We were taken to the floating village, but were not able to go to the actual village -- we were unloaded for a lunch in a large dockside restaurant, allowed 30 minutes to eat and herded back into the boat. We then went to the kayak area, where dozens of kayaks were being paddled around. We were loaded into a kayak and taken on a 20 minute loop through a cave, never more than 20 feet from the nearest other kayak. We were then herded back into the boat to go to James Bond Island, where we had 45 minutes to walk around. It is very beautiful, but small and crowded. Then we were loaded back to the boat and back to the dock. There was no snorkeling or stop at a beach/island. It was not at all what was represented.
