Should not be missed - The Buddha is impressive. I think you should see it if you are within a 1 hour drive. The view from up there is also magnificent 😊
It's best to get there very early

Guide made the day fun - Really nice group, the picking up of people took some time so the trip went an hour longer but the tour guide was great and made the day really fun for everyone, even people who didn't understand any English in the group.
Definitely would recommend.

Awesome half day tour - Daisy, our tour guide was an awesome, friendly, knowledgeable and sweetest guide ever! She communicated well for delays, explained the rich cultural history and tour lasted 5 hrs! Excellent tour to take at an excellent price. Well done

Not impressed - The trip was ok, I could have done it with a taxi by ourselves. The guide was 1hr late with other people. However, we booked a private tour(not impressed). We were taken to a cashew factory without being asked if we wanted to go to which delayed the tour further. The guide was nice, though.

A tourist trap - It's the perfect tourist trap. They take you around with a van and stop in 4 places for 30 minutes. You could do easily do it on your own with a taxi. But worse than that, they try to get money from you during the trip. For example, I had agreed 500 baht to pick me up at the hotel as my place was not in the "free pick-up points". Fair enough, I agreed, but 10 minutes before the pick-up time, I received a message saying the cost for the pick-up up had increased and I had to accept it. Obviously, I didn't accept it and, instead, I asked for the full refund of the cost of the trip for this unacceptable behaviour. We are tourists, not stupid though! They have apologised but I'm still waiting for the refund. To sum up, it's just a tourist trap!
