• Phang Nga Bay. - Phang Nga Bay gained popularity among travelers due to its appearance in a James Bond film featuring Roger Moore as the iconic spy. The bay is renowned for its towering limestone karsts that rise dramatically from the emerald-green waters. Embark on a boat trip to explore James Bond Island! Experience the renowned James Bond Island (Khao Phing Kan), characterized by a tall, tilted rock formation with small caverns, and browse the local stalls offering handicrafts made from shells and wood. Stroll around James Bond Island and snap a picture of Koh Tapu, also referred to as Nail Island or Spike Island. This limestone pillar stands about 20 meters high and tapers from approximately 4 meters at its base to 8 meters at its peak. Proceed to Thalu Island for an optional sea canoe adventure through the mangrove river, past immense stalactite-filled caves and limestone cliffs. If canoeing isn’t your preference, simply enjoy the views of James Bond Island and its environs. For lunch, visit the Panyee floating village, built on a network of stilts along the shoreline of the towering limestone Panyee Island, extending over the water in an intricate array of elevated platforms and pathways.
