Partyyyy - 10/10 go if you are ready to get drunk, very much a party atmosphere! Definitely get a table or cabana though, not many places to sit other than the bar.

Not an absolute must but still good - We opted to go in the afternoon and get the last boat out at 4pm. The pier is a bit tricky to find but on arrival you can stay in a sheltered waiting area and enjoy a free drink. Once arriving you’re not given any information about the restraints or where to go if you haven’t booked a bed. We were going to book a bed but were worried we couldn’t leave our stuff anywhere or shower. Even with a sofa booked there are choanords underneath available and there are lockers. If we had known this we would have come with Swimming costumes to change into.
We also were worried about the dress code as it was not clear at all, all dangles are allowed and whatever “chic casual” means doesn’t apply anyway. As long as you don’t wear football tops or singlets you will be fine, cross body bags are also allowed. Again if knowing this we could have brought more things with us.
Drinks are expensive but well made and the waiters are great. Plus you get an allowance included in your ticket cost. The food is also high standard. You need to order your food then take your receipt to the desk, from there they will get you a table and organise your food and drink to there, you have 1 hour to stay there but there’s absolutely no shade, we found this out from another guest as no one told us what the protocol was and you will quickly be chased off seats that aren’t clearly reserved or being used. The top deck is unreserved but could maybe fit 10 people on it.
I’d recommend doing as we did if you don’t book a bed, just go for the last boat and then go get a drink at the bar and some food and dance by the dj for the night, if possible next time I would take advantage of the lockers and showers available too. It does quieten down about 8pm (closes at 9.30) otherwise is mobbed all day.

Pretty Views but where is the DJ - Nice experience and great ambience. We picked the 930am-2pm because that’s all that was left but I would suggest doing the afternoon session and not this one! Not sure why they don’t have a DJ all day with the amount of money they are charging for this experience! We had generic house/dance music playing the entire time we were there which sucked. They said the DJ only comes after 5pm which is awful. Food was great though and drinks were even better!

Be prepared to stand for a very long time - It is very good at night but be prepared to stand the whole time if you don't have money to buy expensive bottles...Which was the worst for me! They give you a table to eat for 2 hours thereafter you will stand the whole entire time!

Weak drinks. - If you are not purchasing a bottle of alcohol to make your own drinks you might as well not go. Drinks from the bar are verrrry weak. My husband and I had 4 drinks each plus the Mojito Jug and did not feel the effects of alcohol at all.
If you are just bought the day access pass, and didn’t purchase a couch or seat they don’t even both to take care of you. You are only allowed to sit at the restaurant for two hours. Guests are not allowed to sit at the high top tables unless they buy a bottle….not any bottle, only the 15,000 baht bottle. Absolutely ridiculous.
Definitely a money grab for tourists. Only played house music which was still good. Atmosphere was still nice. Aesthetically pleasing and looks good!

Worst beach club I've been to in 70+ countries, Has-been crowded with teenagers, Awful service - I bought the Ladies Day Pass on GetYourGuide instead of paying for a day-pass to 5 star pool & spa to relax after a busy few months of work ... absolute waste of money!
So rammed that getting a drink or food took 15-20 minutes jostled constantly. Then could only sit in pre-paid designated spot (which didn't come with Day Pass nor was it pre-explained) & couldn't eat/drink by pool! As barely even a spot to sit in pool. Security at pool moved my drink without telling me, scaring me someone had spiked it
Same overzealous security said my Havainas were spoiling look by pool but were fine with fake designer sandals/wear of "bogans""chavs" crowding pool with me. Barge that club on was rusting & old, smaller than photos
Felt like a money making prison rather than a relaxing beach club! Security on way in didn't check bags of groups of teenagers in front of me but checked mine, scoffing I'd come alone -"didn't I have friends" - all about numbers & $$ not good service!
Avoid like plague!

I had an absolutely terrifying and unacceptable experience on the Yona Beach boat in Patong, Thailand. What started as a casual outing turned into a nightmare when I was brutally attacked by the boat’s security staff for no valid reason.
The incident began when I was preparing to leave the boat. Without any provocation, I was surrounded by multiple security guards, who proceeded to strangle and violently beat me, leaving me with severe injuries, including potential broken bones. I was left bleeding and in excruciating pain.
Adding insult to injury, the local police, instead of assisting me as a victim, confiscated my passport and made baseless accusations against me. It’s clear there’s a corrupt system at play, prioritizing covering up the boat’s actions rather than seeking justice.
The boat’s staff falsely accused me of inappropriate behavior, which is entirely fabricated. There is video evidence showing that I did nothing wrong and that the accusations are baseless.
This incident was a clear abuse of power and violence. I strongly urge anyone considering a visit to Yona Beach to reconsider. Your safety and well-being are at serious risk on this boat, and you cannot expect help from the local authorities if something goes wrong.
Please share this warning widely to prevent others from experiencing what I endured. No one should have to go through such trauma during what is supposed to be a relaxing and fun time.
