- Gatun Lake - After seeing a ship go through the locks, we will continue by car to the Chagres River where we will then get off the car and begin a boat tour in the Gatun Lake. At this point you will be inside the Panama Canal passing beside the ships in transit from one ocean to the other. During this boat tour in Gatun Lake you will be surrounded by the rainforest of the Soberania National Park, where we will spot monkeys and other wild animals.

Amazing trip made possible by tour guide & the boat captain - Tour guide Fernando was amazing. Boat captain (Soro ?) & Fernando went above & beyond monkeys, birds & even a crocodile in the water. Canal trip witnessing a cargo ship passing through lock gates, iMax theater experience, and all were fantastic. Thank you Fernando & the boat captain to make our trip a memorable one!

Fantastic experience! - Amazing experience! Alex was an excellent guide. Picked us up promptly, was very knowledgeable and took good care of us from start to finish! This tour gives an indepth experience of the panama canal and
surrounding protected islands. The tour starts at the visitor center of the Panama canal. Where you get to experience the engineering marvel and see the huge cargo ships enter the canal and lock areas. Followed by an Imax 3D movie of the history of the canal. The second part of the tour is a boat ride in the canal. Where you see the huge ships passing by. Than continue on to the islands and see the various species of Monkeys. Melissa was our boat operator and she patiently took the time to spot and show us the monkeys. Highly recommend!

Fantastic! - Dan was very knowledgeable, used an iPad to show different perspective, was very thoughtful, took extra time so we could see ship through lock and found monkey so we could feed them by hand. Fantastic!

Great tour and exactly what we wanted! - Dan was an excellent guide! He took care of us from the minute he picked us up and never hesitated to answer any questions we had. It was great to have a guide navigating our experience from the tour at the locks and then out to Lake Gatun. I'd definitely book with this company again and I'd request Dan if he was available. He made our entire group feel extremely comfortable the entire time!

Perfection - Brilliant tour, worth every penny. Arrived at the Panama Canal in-time to see two huge vessels transiting the Miraflores Locks. Then, the boat tour on Gatún was equally fantastic; we saw Whiteface Monkeys and Tamarind Monkeys, as well as fruit bats and Iguanas, withbthe.monkeys climbing onto the boat to take food from my hands. The Guide, Ricardo, was superb. He took excellent photos, offered great knowledge on Panama, and helped me with other things too. Top notch.

Wonderful experience! - The views and experience were truly amazing. Our tour Guide helped us take the most amazing photos and taught us so much about the canal and monkey island. He was truly informative and wonderful. I definitely recommend for anyone coming to visit Panama!!

Excellent Tour - 100% Recommend - We had such an awesome trip and guide. He took us literally everywhere and gave us a ton of historical background on Panama...my other half and I are totally history nerds, so we were stoked. Watching a huge ship float up a lock and into the lake was a really special experience. Then going out on a boat past that ship to feed the monkeys on the island was even better. Our guide took photos and videos for us, which he emailed to our WhatsApp. That was so nice of him! I would absolutely recommend this trip!
