Highlights
  • Olivia River Bend - At the beginning of the activity, each person carries a backpack with the inflatable boat, which is light, compact and easy to transport, weighing a total of 6 kg. The trekking is low intensity and lasts 40 minutes. During the walk we crossed through forests and peat bogs, native species of Tierra del Fuego. We arrive at the Mariposa Lagoon where before entering the water we will inflate the boats, prepare ourselves and have an informative talk on safety and rowing technique. The second part of the adventure begins, one hour rowing down the river steering our boat letting ourselves go. We rest on a small river beach where the Laguna Esmeralda stream connects with the Olivia River, where we will have lunch surrounded by nature. In the second part of the route, we cross sections with native forest and bushes on the sides of the river, the landscape that surrounds us is beautiful and our mission is to take care of it, always bringing our waste and everything we see on the side of the river.

Lovely float down the Olivia River - We had a wonderful experience floating down the river. Spectacular views, very friendly guide. One of us was in a double raft with our nine year old daughter. Highly recommend!

Packrafring Río Olivia, Ushuaia - I loved the excursion, I would definitely do it again. It begins with a trek of low difficulty, until you reach the Mariposa lagoon, and then paddle along the Olivia River to almost the starting point.

Super fun, and different activity to do in Ushuaia. Excellent attention from the entire team. - One of the best experiences we had! The entire Táun Ushuaia team gave us excellent service. They will pick you up wherever you are staying (transfer included). Start with an easy trek of approximately 40 minutes. Where we carry all the necessary equipment, included in the excursion. Each one with their waterproof backpack with boat, paddle, inflator, life jacket and waterproof pants. After trekking we prepared for the water. We inflated the boats, had a technical talk and practiced a little rowing. We entered the Olivia River and began to descend. The activity is very fun, and along the way you contemplate the beauty of the Andes Mountains. We make a technical stop for lunch, on a beautiful little beach, and we begin the last stretch of paddling. We ended up deflating the boats, and packing the bags to return. Lunch is also included. Important information: •This activity can be done between the months of October and May. •No previous experience is necessary, the boats are very stable. •It is an activity for all ages. •It lasts approximately 5 hours. I hope the info is useful to you and you don't miss it!!!

A beautiful and quiet excursion to enjoy nature. - Packrafting on the Olivia River, an experience without difficulty (you don't have to know how to ride a rubber boat or kayak) and it is beautiful. You have to walk with the boat on your back for 40 minutes through a very beautiful forest, you arrive at a lagoon, you inflate the rubber boat and go down the river. It is a calm, fun and beautiful activity. I loved it and would do it again. Thank you @taunushuaia, I always go on excursions with you and you are the best, not only because the activities are incredibly beautiful but because I feel cared for, something that is very important to me in activities in nature.
