Best Padua walking tour money can buy! Deborah is an awesome guide. - Deborah Giovanna was a terrific guide! She was warm and welcoming. I found her to be a fount of knowledge about Padua. Even though I was the only one who had signed for that day’s tour, she took a 40-minute train ride to come meet me at the assigned meeting point and make sure that I got the benefit of the tour. I could not have asked for a better tour. The walk through the old city was filled with interesting sights, made even more exciting by Deborah’s descriptions and anecdotes. On the Friday that I took the tour, a couple of fruit and vegetable markets were set up in the piazzas. This made for a very colourful and buzzing-with-activity kind of morning. Deborah took me to every single sight, and gave very detailed background, historical context and vivid descriptions. The prep for and walk through St. Anthony’s was amazing. The icing on the cake, pun intended, was the visit to Cafe Pedrocchi. Here again, Deborah painted a word picture of the historic cafe that made the place come alive for me. I could actually visualize the times when the epochal events that changed the course of Italy took place. As though to help with this visualization, the cafe has preserved the bullet hole that is central to the story. The three rooms designed to represent the tricolour flag of Italy, along with the story behind that decor, wa especially interesting. And I loved the special coffee (you must taste it to believe it!) and treats that was part of the tour. What a yummy way to end the tour! Before she left for home. Deborah also gave me directions to the restaurant where I could get the best Tramezzino, the specialty triangular sandwich of Padua. So kind of her! Deborah, I would like to thank you for making it worth my time to visit Padua. Keep up the good work!

A cafe as it should be - An old, beautifully decorated and excellent cafe right in the middle of town, which looks downright magnificent and impresses with its perfectly trained staff. The coffee and cakes are of high quality, and a glass of Franciacorta is also worth a try. The price is quite reasonable for what is on offer and the ambience - although of course it can't be cheap here.

Padua in the heart. - Walking around this wonderful city was wonderful even with an expert guide like our professor.... I saw many young students, but also pensioners and tourists, all smiling and carefree. In addition to history, Padua offers a lot of life, bars, old shops and modern, curiosities and markets everywhere... it struck me, I think I'll go back and I'll have a coffee with mint at Caffè Pedrocchi again.

A really interesting walk in the city centre - I really liked the tour, it was a very pleasant and interesting guided walk, even for me as I am from Padua: the guide was very knowledgeable, competent, precise and I learned many things that I didn't know about my city.
