A must do when visiting Horseshoe Bend. - Excellent rafting trip to see the inside of the canyon. The guide was excellent in explaining the terrain and views and making sure you got your moneys worth of sites and pictures. The check-in was simple and the bus ride to the launch site was easy and enjoyable. I am usually an extremely cautious person in booking things like this but if your like me you will enjoy it tremendously.

Amazing experience! - It was a beautiful day, slightly cool in the morning. The river trip is a wonderful experience. Holly was our guide, and she was perfect. We had a full raft. Holly pointed out many highlights and always took questions from the group. The trip up and down the river is amazingly awesome. No way to describe the sheer beauty of being in a river canyon. I spotted some mountain goats and we were able to watch about 10 of them make their way from the valley to a plateau near the rim. Truly amazing! The only downside is that tours can no longer launch from near the dam in Page. An hour long bus ride to and from the tour company site was unexpected. And the bus driver went through the dangerous mountain pass at 70 mph, which was much too fast. Many of the folks around us were unnerved by this. I have experience driving a bus, and I was unnerved by the driver’s speed. Other than that, highly recommended!

We had a wonderful... - We had a wonderful experience with Laverne. We had booked our tour with a third party not realizing it. Which caused a tremendous amount of problems with a tour prior to horseshoe bend. Our tour with Horseshoe was very well organized and guide was outstanding. Our Antelope canyon tour was nothing but problems. HOWEVER; Laverne salvaged that for us too.

So glad I did this while visiting Page - it was awesome! - I did the 8 AM half-day float trip to Horseshoe Bend. I booked online, and forgot to print my waiver form but it was no big deal. You have a little orientation in their building before leaving on a tour bus that takes you to Lee's Ferry. The ride was almost an hour and was comfortable and scenic. Once there, you load onto the raft and you're off! It was quite chilly when we started and the guide warned that if you sit up front, you could get a little wet. By the time we reached Horseshoe Bend, everyone was removing their jackets because the temperature change was drastic. The raft docks at Petroglyph beach for about 30 minutes and you can either hit the restrooms, eat a snack that you've brought, jump in the water to cool off or take a short hike to see the Petroglyphs. Then you head back down the river to where you started. Tia was the guide and she was great. She was friendly, informative and made the trip enjoyable. I was hoping to see some wildlife, but only saw a wild horse. I was glad that I did the morning tour, because when we got back to Lee's Ferry to catch the bus back to Page, it was noon and it was extremely hot out. It was so beautiful to see the canyon from this viewpoint. You won't regret taking this trip, it was well worth it!

Tour well worth the money!!! - Kris was our tour guide and she was amazing. So knowledgable and funny. Took plenty of time so everyone could get photos as she told about the history of the canyon. We were lucky enough to see the wild horses, sheep, birds and even a bat sunbathing on a rock. Great trip. Dave was our bus driver and we enjoyed hearing him point out interesting thing along our trip to and from the canyon

A MUST DO EXPERIENCE! - What a fabulous tour. The views along the way to Lee's Ferry are great and the views along the Colorado are spectacular. We even saw some wild horses. Looking up the walls that are 1000 feet up from the river and full of character is difficult to describe but something no one should miss. There are benches you sit on quite comfortably as well. Please note that water does spray up from the front so you will get wet but not soaked.
