Different tour on the Antelope - The experience is quite legal. You need to have a minimum of physical preparation. It takes an hour and a half kayaking. An hour and a half walk and another hour and a half kayaking.

Great Tour - Ben was a great tour guide. He's from Antelope Kayak. It was just myself and a German family. He was knowledgeable and taught us a lot. I will say that the way back on the K kayak is pretty tough. Bring water shoes and a waterproof bag. Bring Gatorade or Powerade and snacks.

Fun experience - This was a fun first time, our guides Ben and Hayden were great. I've read some of the other reviews and it seems like some need to be held by the hand, but that's just me.

We had a nice day... - We had a nice day kayaking on Lake Powell. It definitely was a little choppy on the main part of the lake, but once you get into the canyon part it was much easier. The hike through the canyon was amazing! Our guide Ben was a great photographer too! I would definitely recommend this tour.

Kayaks were not for... - Kayaks were not for someone that is taller than six foot and the back supports were nonexistent. I would suggest implementing better seats, similar to the ones we saw on your competitors kayaks.

Find an alternative company - Guides were not very helpful. They actually started the tour without us. The company leaves you with older, worn out boats. (Ps. You will have a puddle of water in your boat so bring a water pump or you can use the ones they have in their guide's boats- apparently they know this is going to happen- hmmm 🤔? ). The guides do not care about your skill level. He just assumed everyone was good at it. We had all been kayaking before but this was different territory. We were in a tandem boat and struggling with the paddling out in the wavy busy lake- there was no offer of assistance or guidance on what we were doing wrong or tips on how to help. One guide (who was never introduced- I had to ask him if he was a guide), well he didn’t speak much English so he wasn’t much help. He just floated along in the back with us once he figured out we were part of his group. There was very little direction as to what we were doing/where we were going- or they may have told the rest of the group but we were busy pumping out water and missed that part. When I asked the tour guide to wait for the whole group to catch up before he gave his “speeches” about the lake and on the canyon, he told us he had to keep moving. I guess my money wasn’t as good as the other group members. We were promised an opportunity to swim but that didn’t happen.. and it was something my son and I were looking forward to as the water is crystal clear in some places and it would have been nice to cool off. I could go on but I think you get the point… in summary take your money to another company.

I don’t recommend. - This is not a beginner friendly activity. We constantly told one of the guides who goes by the name of Hank, that our kayak was filling with water. He just told us to keep paddling. I also believe there was a language barrier. Anyways, this resulted in our kayak flipping over because they ALSO did not warn us about how choppy the waves were! We told Hank on multiple occasions that our kayak was filling rapidly. A family near by in their boat had to help us out of the lake with the assistance of another guide who was not apart of our tour, Ben. After the family helped us on to their boat, one of the guides who was apart of our tour ended up flipping into the water too because his kayak had been filled with water as well. He joined us on the boat with that very nice family. They towed our two kayaks as close to land as they could. Hayden, the tour guide had to swim us back to land from where the boat dropped us off at. After making it back to where we began, we were then told that this weekend had been one of the busiest this year and that’s why the lake was so choppy. They should’ve have told us that from the start. Also, Our other friends who were in a separate kayak never made it to the hike either because of the condition of the water.
