Fantastic morning safari - Fantastic Wilpattu Safari. We went in the morning so it was good to see the animals. We saw two leopards. In addition, elephants, wild boars and birds were seen. Our driver/guide explained everything to us very well.

All in all a good experience. But room for improvement - All in all a good experience but had some trouble in the morning. Driver was around 30 minutes late and didn’t have or breakfast with him. Breakfast was later taken care of by getting it from a different driver, but it took some time. Safari itself was amazing. Unfortunately was not able to see a leopard but was able to see elephants, buffalo, wild boar and many birds. Plus the scenery is truly beautiful with abundant flora. One thing that I would like to suggest is to hold a briefing at first. Roughly explain the days activity and where in the park we will go. I think the breakfast problem could’ve been solved earlier if this had been done. Also, if the safari provided a map of the trails or something, I think it would’ve given us sense of more familiarity of the national park
