The tour usually starts before sunrise, enabling participants to experience the peaceful ambiance of the city as it awakens. With the guidance of an experienced guide, participants will visit a local market to buy fresh food items, such as rice, fruit, and snacks, which are customarily offered to the monks.
While strolling through the streets, participants will have the opportunity to interact with local vendors and discover the importance of each food item in the almsgiving ritual. Upon arriving at the designated location, participants will witness the monks, clad in their saffron robes, silently walking to receive the offerings.
