Interesting trip to DMZ - I went on the DMZ trip guided by Sadie. The trip was what I expected meaning a mix of outdoor visits and the highlights which were the tunnel and obsevatory. Sadie was very helpful and friendly and answerwed all inquiries. Nothing to complain about. Recommended if you're in Seoul but it will take up half a day.

I recently took a DMZ... - I recently took a DMZ tour with Seoul City Tours, and it was an unforgettable experience! Our guide, Grace, was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about Korean history. She explained the significance of the Demilitarized Zone in detail, from the Joint Security Area to the Third Tunnel of Aggression, making the tense atmosphere feel both educational and safe. Grace's engaging storytelling brought the site's complex past to life, and her tips on what to watch for at the Dora Observatory were spot on—we even spotted North Korean villages through the binoculars. The tour was well-organized, with comfortable transportation from Seoul and plenty of time for photos and questions. Great experience with Grace from Seoul City Tours—highly recommend for anyone interested in this pivotal piece of history!

Not a must on the Seoul to-do list - The tour is rather well - since no half points can be given, it is rounded off. If you don’t know what to do in Seoul anymore, then you can do the tour. Our guide - Chloe - was mediocre. Has shared little info with us (whether ignorance or because it rained is unclear) and it was not so clear exactly what we do. But time management had it under control. Short stop at the gathering place, short stop at the tunnel (you don't see anything but plants sprouting), stop at the observation desk including the shortest introduction ever and then a stop at a village where people live, but which you are not allowed to visit and that's it. You must not have too much expectation and if anyone thinks you see the well-known blue houses: Misrepresentation, since 2023 it is no longer possible to visit this zone. I wouldn't book the tour a second time and that wasn't because of the rainy weather. I would spend that money on something else next time.
