• The Third Tunnel - The 3rd Tunnel, constructed by North Korea for potential invasion of South Korea, was uncovered in 1978. It is the closest of the four discovered tunnels to Seoul, approximately 52 km away. The tunnel spans 1.6 km in length and 2 m in width, capable of accommodating nearly 30,000 individuals per hour.
