Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park - We are going to Imjingak Park from Seoul to do the DMZ tour. It takes about 70 minutes.
Our first destination is Imjingak Park. When we get there, we will first buy a DMZ ticket and register our information to get permission and take some time to look around there.
Imjingak Park is Korea’s representative unification tourist site and it was built in 1972.
Since then, various facilities have been built one after another, and it has taken on its current appearance.
This park is located 7 km south of the MDL.
And unlike JSA and DMZ, civilian like us can visit here without permission.
For that reason, many locals and foreigners visit this place, and about 5 million people visit this place a year.
You can see the Peace Bell, the Mangbedan Altar, the Bridge of Freedom. We are going to stay here for about 60 minutes.

You can travel privately with only your family or friends. Our first destination is Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park, It is Korea’s representative unification tourist site. After spending some time there, we will begin our DMZ tour. There are 3 main destinations for DMZ tour. First, we will go to the 3rd Tunnel which was made by North Korea and we will stay there for about 1 hour and 10 minutes. Second, we’ll go to Dora observatory where we can see the view of North Korea. Finally, we will visit Unification Village where you can buy DMZ souvenirs. You can understand the history of the division of Korea through the DMZ tour. After the DMZ tour, we will guide you to the Gamak Mountain Chulleong Suspension Bridge. You can see the beauty of nature at Gamaksan Mountain and experience the uniqueness of the Suspension Bridge. *The DMZ tour schedule may change to another location due to sudden weather deterioration or military operations.

Great Family Tour - We had a great private tour with Emily. Our family of 7 consisted of 3 adults, 2 teens and seniors, and we all were able to enjoy the tour. From the suspension bridge, 3rd tunnel and Dora observatory, we learned so much. She also took us to a wonderful restaurant for lunch. The tour is a very full packed day and Emily took great care of us.

DMZ tour Family excursion review - Great family excursion at the DMZ ,suspension bridge, etc. Emily was a great tour guide and very helpful. We had a a family member in a wheel chair and she was very accommodating to her. We were able to connect with the culture and understand it to a greater degree then before we came on this tour. I highly recommend Emily as your tour guide to the DMZ.

Full service 5 star tour and guide - What an amazing day. Picked up from hotel in private van. Sebastian met us in the lobby of our hotel and we zipped away straight to the DMZ ticketing center. He got our tickets for a 1300 entry time.
After getting our tickets squared away he took us to the Suspension Bridge hike with a quick stop at the Gloster Memorial. After the hike we ate lunch at an authentic restaurant specializing in the local soybean soup. Food was fantastic.
From there we headed back to the DMZ ticketing center to get on the main bus that brought us into the DMZ. The highlight was the third tunnel. What an adventure with hard hats and all. Be ready to get a little sweaty!
Overall, Sebastian was super attentive and informative. Highly recommended!

Highly custom DMZ experience - Sabastian was an extraordinary host. The day started with pick-up at our hotel. He then took us to the DMZ ticketing center, where he was able to quickly attain tickets (they must be purchased same day). From the suspension bridge, to the third tunnel, to the Dora observatory, to the unification village, and to the Korean War memorial, Sebastian was able to educate our family of five (kids ages 11,12,16) about all of the area’s rich history. He also took us to an amazing authentic lunch where we dined on a variety of soybean dishes where the proprietor made tofu from scratch. Note: soybean ice cream at the unification village is out of this world and is a must try. We ended the day close to 5pm, back in Seoul, and Sebastian remained very attentive to our needs the entire way. We highly recommend this tour. Thank you, Sebastian!

Great tour, and fanatic guide! - Tour was very informative. Emily was a fantastic guide, and very knowledgeable. All transportation was taken care of, and even included a very nice lunch! Would very much recommend to anyone from United States to book this tour if you are interested in the South Korean DMZ.
