An impressive tour - This is a must-go trip in Seoul. The one-day trip started at 6am from the Hotel we stayed. It was great we had a complimentary pick up from the hotel. Our tour guide, Joo-ee, was very familiar with the itinerary of the tour and was able to arrange the order of visiting attractions in such a way that we did not need to waste our time waiting. The trip ended earlier than expected and we were lucky to have a drop off at the Myeong-dong at approximately 5pm. It was very helpful of Joo to have arranged the drop off for us as we had difficulty reading the Korean language and that would make us difficult to return to Myeong-dong if we were to have to take the subway. Overall, the trip was very worth going and Joo was very informative about the DMZ.

Great experience! - Joo Ee was great sharing the stories of her country and the war. Be ready for some walking and climbing, the path out of the tunnel is steeper and longer than you think!

Awesome tour, well worth doing - This was a fantastic tour with Vincent. Prompt pick-up in a comfortable vehicle. He was a great guide and very knowledgeable. Plenty of time to see everything.. I didn't realise though that it would he so physical- we are in our mid 60's - and found it very challenging with all of the steep climbs and steps. I would have changed the booking to our last day in South Korea if I had known 😊 We still have sore muscles 2 days later! But the tour was definitely worth the pain. Highly recommended.

Her kindness, professionalism, and deep knowledge made the tour truly memorable. The entire visit was well-organized, providing a meaningful insight into the history and significance of the area. Joo-Ee’s thoughtful explanations and genuine care for our group made us feel both informed and comfortable throughout the day. I highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in learning about Korea's history, and special thanks again to Joo-Ee for making it such a wonderful experience.

Interesting and informative - Joo-Ee was an excellent host for this tour to the DMZ. I was happy to have paid a little more for the small group experience which included a hotel pick up. The itinerary was clear and while there is a bit of waiting around and quite a few crowds, it was well scheduled overall. Joo-Ee was a great guide who was interesting and informative and the transport was comfortable.

A must for every tourist! - We were picked up at our hotel which was really great. Communication before the trip via WhatsApp which is not usual in Asian-Countries! It was a long trip starting from early in the morning (before 7 am through the current situation - limited entrance of people) until 17 pm. When we arrived at the first stop, you could see the difference between this tour and other tours. Most of the groups were 20 and above, and we were around 12-14 people. Ms. Jung was our guide that day. She organized everything well and gave us information about the history and the places! Also questions outside of the topic DMZ had been answered really well! You should definitely wear sporty clothes, as it is more of a hike than just a bus ride. You have to walk a small path up the mountain to get to the suspension bridge and it is also strenuous to walk in the tunnel. There are a lot of visitors at the places mentioned, which can mean that you have to re-plan things along the way and Ms Jung did a really great job of that. The only disadvantage is that you are not allowed to take photos in some places and everything is timed as it is a controlled area. Don't expect to stay in the DMZ for long (max. 3 hours is permitted after entry).
