Dangerous driver - Very nice trip but the driver used to much his mobile phone and drove sometimes in a very dangerous way.

Cheap and on time - Not exactly luxury travel but as expected, picked up bang on time in a van that looked it had covered a couple of million miles, dropped at a central depot / station and piled after 45 minutes in to another van this one looked liked it had only done 1 million so it was half as bad. At the station we were sold the return trip at 500baht per person. Constantly hassled to pay an extra 100 baht each to be dropped at the resort which we had to decide on there and then - decided not to and as it turns out Palm view where we were staying offers a free transfer. Took about 21/2 hours plus a 20 minute stop at a service station. But all went smoothly, we got there and back. We were also hassled a bit on return as were going to Koh Lanta the following day - we wanted a nice hotel over night rather than do the full trip which would have been 6 hours travelling. Told the ferry we had booked wasn't running and we would definitely have problems and the only way to get there was by their van. that all went smoothly - they just want to get as much out of you as you can so just say you have everything sorted and organised and they will leave you alone. Would use the service again as it worked and was cheap .... just be aware of the 'up-selling' they try and do.

Ok overall - No response to repeated queries about whether or not you could drop us off at our hotel. We Discussed this with the driver in the day who agreed to do so for an additional fee so it all worked out in the end, but a straight response to a direct question is always appreciated. Bus itself was clean and in time.

Easy to book in advance - The service was easy to book in advance however it was very inefficient and slow. The pickup in Krabi was right on time but then we were taken to the bus depot where we waited another hour before the minivan left. The 2 hr+ travel time starts when it leaves the depot, so really it took 4 hours...

Extra costs - The ride itself was good and what you can expect from a transfer. When we where picked up from our hotel to go to the meet up point with other travelers the boss/owner(?) of the company came up to us, asking where we would stay in Khao Sok. He told us to pay extra 80 bath per person right there to bring us to our place of stay (at max 5 more minutes driving). These extra costs were never mentioned in the description. Others had to pay 50 bath per person for only 2 more minute driving to their stay.

Disgusting unprofessional behavior. Never showed, spouted lies and didn’t want to refund. Left us stranded. - Absolutely disgusting! Wouldn’t recommend whatsoever. Had booked pickup for 11:30am and this was then confirmed again over WhatsApp the day before. Informed clearly that pickup would be between 10:45-11. I asked that the original time of 11:30 be kept but had no response. At 10:15am I was informed the driver had arrived I said we weren’t all quite ready but would be out soon even though he was earlier than informed/booked. Was then told if I wasn’t in the van for 10:45 I would be charged the full amount and the car canceled! Obviously I wasn’t happy but left our villa to try speak directly to the driver only to find not a single soul/van waiting. When I explained this over WhatsApp I was then told the driver had left and had reported that he spoke to someone but left as no one was ready. Completely false as no one in our party had seen or spoken to anyone. All this happened before 10:30 so an HOUR before my original booking. I was first met with attitude over WhatsApp and told it was my fault and I’d be charged. but that soon turned to apologies and “idk why he left” “I’m begging him to come back”. I did receive a full refund however I then had to pay £150 in a grab to complete my journey as no other solution was even offered.

Uncomfortable, unreliable and unsafe - The driver drives like a maniac. Way to close to others cars and swerving through traffic. The van is in a terrible condition. Tore up seating, broken seat belt and missing security hamer. Additionally there was not enough room for all the luggage, which meant that it was stacked up to the ceiling in an unsafe manner and we had to keep bags on our laps the entire trip. We were picked up at the hotel more than 1 hour before the schedule departure time and then brought to a central gathering point. The bus departed more than 1, 5 hour later than scheduled. Which meant that we lost more than 2,5 hours of our time just on waiting. To make things worse, our van didn't go directly to Khao Sok as promised before, but dropped other passengers at other destinations. This again added more than 1 hour to our travel time. Avoid at all costs! It's better to either take a public bus/minivan from the station or book a private car.
