Gurdwara Nankana Sahib - Gurdwara Sachcha Sauda is located 37 miles from Lahore on the Lahore-Lyallpur Railway Line.

Guru Nanak, as a young man, was sent by his father Mehta Kalu, who hoped to instill a sense of business in his son, to buy goods to sell for a profit. However, on his way, Nanak encountered some hungry sadhus and decided to use the money his father had given him (Rs. 20) to provide a meal for them. Returning home without any purchases, Mehta Kalu was very annoyed. But Nanak explained that he had done a good deed by feeding the starving sadhus, gaining the best profit from the money. This would not be the last time Mehta Kalu worried about his son.

Nankana Sahib - Nankana Sahib is a city and the capital of Nankana Sahib District in Punjab, Pakistan. It is named after the first Guru of the Sikhs, Guru Nanak, who was born and began preaching here. Nankana Sahib is the most important religious site for the Sikh religion. It is located about 91 km (57 mi) west of Lahore. Until 2005, it was part of the Sheikhupura District.

Originally, the locality was founded by a Hindu ruler named Raja Vairat and was named Raipur. It was destroyed during the Islamic invasions of the Indian subcontinent. A later township on the site was founded during the Delhi Sultanate rule by Rai Bhoi, a Rajput of Bhati stock whose Hindu ancestor had converted to Islam due to Sufism, and was known as Rai-Bhoi-Di-Talwandi. His great-grandson Rai Bular Bhatti renamed it ‘Nankana Sahib’ after the birth of Guru Nanak.

The gurdwara is located just outside the Walled City of Lahore and is part of an ensemble of monuments including the Lahore Fort, Samadhi of Ranjit Singh, Hazuri Bagh quadrangle, Roshnai Gate, and the Badshahi Mosque.

Shahi Qila Lahore - The Lahore Fort is a citadel in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan. The fortress is located at the northern end of the Walled City of Lahore and covers an area greater than 49 acres. The Lahore Fort was almost entirely rebuilt in the 17th century during the height of the Mughal Empire’s splendor and opulence.

The first record of a fortified structure at the site dates to an 11th-century mudbrick fort. The foundations of the modern Lahore Fort date to 1566 during the reign of Emperor Akbar. Additions from the Shah Jahan period feature luxurious marble with inlaid Persian floral designs, while the grand Alamgiri Gate was constructed by the last great Mughal emperor, Aurangzeb, and faces the renowned Badshahi Mosque.

After the fall of the Mughal Empire, Lahore Fort was used as the residence of Emperor Ranjit Singh, founder of the Sikh Empire. The Sikhs made several additions to the fort.

Darbar Sahib Kartarpur Narowal

Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur - Also called Kartarpur Sahib, this gurdwara is located in Narowal District. Guru Nanak settled here, assembled the Sikh community, and lived until his death in 1539. It is one of the holiest sites in Sikhism, alongside the Golden Temple Janam Asthan. The shrine is visible from the Indian side of the border, where Indian Sikhs gather in large numbers to perform darshan, or sacred viewing, from the Indian side. The Kartarpur Corridor was opened by Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan on 9 November 2019, just days before the 550th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak. This historic moment officially allowed Indian Sikh pilgrims visa-free access to Pakistan and is also claimed to be the largest gurdwara in the world.

The shrine is located in the town of Nankana Sahib, approximately 65 kilometers from Lahore. Nankana Sahib was previously known as Rāi Bhoi Kī Talvaṇḍī but was eventually renamed in honor of Guru Nanak.
