Park Gate is opens at 6 AM and we are ready to drive then.\n\nFirst Try is to get in to the park as one of first Jeeps. That will give us maximum opportunities everyday.\n\nEarly morning first 2 hours and the day end last 2 hours is the golden hours for the leopard spotting.\n\nTherefore we will not waste our time with the common animals or birds within this time.\n\nAfter this Golden Hours we will change the driving style in to explaining process and stop by every single thing we see on our route.\n\nWithin this tours to Yala, Big 3 is Leopard, Sloth Bear & Elephants. Other than that Many other different animal like Crocodiles, Monkeys, Deers, Birds, Jackals, Mongoose…..\n\nMany people in there reviews mentioned that the Yala is very busy, I have to say this, We will not drive only the main road of the park. Over set of Toyota Hilux/Toyota Land Cruiser Jeeps are able to Drive any road in the park and we will.

Amazing experience - Amazing experience, we saw many animals (2 leopards, 1 bear, elephants, monkeys, crocodiles, eagles…)

Beautiful - It was really fun! Took pictures of everything. We saw a leopard and many elephants. Our guide took us to places where it was less crowded, so we experienced more unique things.

Amazing experience - We had high expectations for this tour and the experience did not disappoint!
Yala National Park is beautiful and it combines the beauty of the jungle with the mightiness of the Indian Ocean at its feet.
We organised our whole trip through a local tour operator, and sadly paid much more for the Yala safari than the prices we can see on Tripadvisor, but we have no regrets as the experience was amazing.
Did not see a leopard this time.

Highly reliable private safari operators - We booked them by phone for an afternoon safari. We were picked up at 2 by Yashara and instantly we knew it was gonna be an amazing safari. He literally spotted every single animal - we saw a leopard, lots of elephants and crocodiles. I had asked to see the Malabar Hornbill if he finds them and of course he did! Highly recommend this team for your Yala Safari.

Amazing time ! - Amazing time with Yashara, who gave us precious advice to fully enjoy this tour. We had chance to see a bear and a lot of other animals due to Yashara experience and drive ability ! I recommand at 100% !

Alright - A pretty park, with leopards, elephants, peacocks, deer, wild boars, birds, crocodiles.....safari done in 4x4. However they are very numerous especially when a leopard is found

Safari was alright. Be aware of costs and missing information. - The activity description doesn't mention that need to pay 13000 rupees per person. Neither does it say that SAARC countries get a discount.
We were asked to show the passports to prove it. We had photos, but guide didn't accept those. Who goes to a safari with passports? It is absurd.
We were told about the entrance fee the night before, after the banks already closed. Luckily we had some money.
Safari was alright. We got to see elephants, birds and monkeys. Leopards were too far away but got a glimpse.
Just be aware of how much it was cost in total.

Cancelled booking due to no responses - We booked the safari via TripAdvisor. I didn't get any kind of confirmation from the company so I reached out via the provided WhatsApp number, several times over several days, with no reply, so I cancelled the booking and went with a different company.
