Nice View in Chiapas - Super long bus ride but it is worth the drive for the amazing view of Chiapas!! However, the tour is missing the breakfast that was promised... In addition, even though we paid for english speaking tour, the driver did not know any english at all. We could not communicate with him AT ALL.... We waited for our meal until 5pm when we were brought to a restaurant where we had to pay for our meals. Although the tour at the archeological site is english, all the other part of the tour was in spanish and we had difficulty communicating basic needs to the driver.

I don't know what is more beautiful: nature or monuments! - Every Mayan site is magical!! You feel catapulted into another dimension! Palenque is no exception! You are almost incredulous both for the beauty of the place and for the sense of disorientation you feel when you walk among those ruins so well preserved, it really seems like you are in those times! The monuments are set in a forest rich in every plant and animal of every species! Everything is taken care of down to the smallest detail and the street vendors of artisanal products are very careful not to invade the sacred spaces. A beautiful journey through time! The route is not too difficult, except for the sections on the steps of the pyramids, which are rather steep and risky for people who tire easily or have difficulty walking...however, even without climbing the stairs, the landscape that can be admired is a disarming beauty!

Great sites in Chiapas - The waterfalls were so beautiful! My friend and I loved walking around and exploring a bit. It had been raining a lot recently when we visited, so we couldn’t go swimming. However, just being around these magnificent falls was great! The ruins of Palenque were breathtaking. It was amazing to see these ancient pyramids and temples. We enjoyed the walk through the surrounding jungle, too.

Palenque , cascadas de misol-ha, cascadas de aqua azul - Palenque is awesome. Request Mingo for your guide , pay extra for the jungle walk to see some cool animals like monkeys . Pack some swimwear for the lakes . It’s a very long drive to get there. 20+ hr day from tuxtla

Visit to Waterfalls and Palenque @Chiapas - Certainly is a trip you must do when going to Chiapas !!! Palenque is beautiful and so worth it to visit (you should choose a guided visit to enjoy the most) The van will pick you up at your hotel at 3:00am just on time! Because there are many curves on the road, you must took a pill to avoid dizziness! Take a swimming suit and towels if you like swim at the waterfalls. Also a lot of sunscreen and anti-mosquito bite repellent 👍🏻

History and natural beauty - Since there were only two of us on the tour on that day we had a private car a driveras apposed to a convi. The driver was friendly and cared that we had a good experience . He picked us up on time at 5am and off we went to our first destination which was breakfast in the town of Palenque before we toured the ruins. The breakfast was included and was quite tasty. The guide they had for the ruins was very knowledgeable on the ruins of Palenque and seemed like he enjoyed his job. After that we went to a waterfall that was so beautiful and we got to enter a cave behind the waterfall. After that we had a late lunch which was not included but delicious and got to dip in the amazing Agua Azul water falls. Finally the driver took us back to Tuxla at 10pm. It was a super long day but totally worth it!

Very basic - The journey they took was very long. 8 hours there and 8 hours back from Tuxtla. The driver kept the speed high even in the rain. I can understand that the day was slightly rainy, however in blue water we spent 20 minutes and in Misol-ha 10 minutes. The breakfast, although very basic, was appetizing. In Palenque the guide is not included (I didn't realize at the time that he gave us tickets to other archaeological sites in the country)

Amazing driver, disappointing tour - Firstly, the driver we had all day, Javier, was really great! He did an amazing job driving for around 16hrs in the heat. Problems we had - We had booked for an English speaking guide for Palenque, but when we arrived they tried to charge us around 2300 MXN for it and said it was not included in the tour price. Additionally when we booked, the tour mentioned that breakfast was included - but it was not. This tour ran from around 3am to 1am the following day - so it’s around 21 hours. It’s a long long way to travel but worth it.

The car driver and the guide who... -
The car driver and the guide who accompanied us in the tour were very nice. Instead the guide we found in Palenque was not exausted and we saw only a part of the site

A below average tour - This bus tour took more than 19 hours from our hotel to Palenque. ( pick up at 3am and come back at 11 pm). We asked for an English tour, but we had to join with a Spanish speaking tour group. The driver does not speak English. No communication and translation to our need. However, the driver did a good job in driving, very skillful. The tour did not give us the lunch box as brochure listed.
