• Cascadas de Agua Azul - The Agua Azul Waterfalls that has impressive turquoise blue waterfalls that form this wonderful natural resource. Its waterfalls are formed thanks to the tributaries of the Otulúm, Shumuljá and Tulijá river, forming not very deep canyons with vertical cliffs that give rise to its blue and white waterfalls. The waters have that beautiful blue color because of the carbonate salts that are dissolved. The vegetation is lush mountain jungle, in some parts it covers the river, it is common to see trunks of fallen petrified trees.

BLUE WATERFALLS, MISOL-HÁ CASCADA - ARCHAEOLOGICAL SITE OF PALENQUE - STARTING FROM SAN CRISTÓBAL DE LAS CASAS CHIAPAS
Setting off from the hotel lobby at 4:00 am, our first halt will be in the city of Ocosingo, for breakfast at a local restaurant (not included in the package). Following this, we will head to the Agua Azul waterfalls, a beautiful natural site with stunning turquoise blue water cascading from heights of up to 20 meters, all of which we’ll explore during a 2-hour guided tour.
Next on our itinerary is a visit to the Misol-Ha Waterfall, a spectacular waterfall standing 25 meters tall, where you’ll have an hour to enjoy and soak in the gorgeous view.
Afterward, we will proceed to visit the archaeological site in Palenque, which showcases the magnificent remnants of the Mayan culture and its rich natural heritage, on a 2-hour guided tour.
Our expedition concludes as we make our way back to the city of San Cristóbal de las Casas, arriving around 10:30 pm.
