Cooking class in the heart of Palermo! - We had so much fun, Marco is an amazing chef and teacher! We met at the colorful Capo Market in Palermo where Marco purchased the ingredients that we would need to prepare our meal at his apartment nearby in the city. We put on our aprons and under his instruction produced one of the best meals we had in Sicily. I highly recommend this class.

So much fun & delicious food! - I loved the cooking class with Chef Marco! It was great to experience the Capo Market and taste foods there too (like freshly made juices and salami). The pasta and arancine we made were some of my favorite during my entire trip to Italy. Not only did I learn more about Sicilian cooking, but I also had such a fun time with Chef Marco and the whole group....lots of laughter and appreciation of good food!

Cooking with Marco - We cooked in a group with 8 sympathetic participants, Pasta alla Norma, Involtini as well as Caponata. The cooking class started at the market where we bought the fresh ingredients. Afterwards, cooking was done and Marco gave us excellent tips and we learned a lot about Sicilian cuisine. The atmosphere was relaxed and we had a lot of fun. And the food was just delicious!! I can only recommend this course to anyone!

Do this!! It is such a great way to spend the day! - 5 Star!!! Highly recommend this !!! Met in the market and Marco was amazing. He let us guide the food selection - don’t like fish, we can make that work. Love a cannoli- we can make that work. I had a couple of special requests and he made those work as well. Wanted to try the fruit Figidindi (am sure I am spelling that wrong) he made that happen. What a treat. While we were at the market I saw a new pasta shape and wanted to learn that - he taught me. From those who cannot cook to those who are comfortable in the kitchen … we all learned new tricks to make cooking just a bit easier and elevated. Marco welcomes you into his life and learns a bit of yours - makes the connection to Sicily just a bit more special. To the friends I met from Australia, Germany and the US thank you for spending the day and sharing your stories. We shared a wonderful meal and time today. Marco- this is your gift to others. You are special and I am grateful to get a piece of your story. Life is an adventure and this is a generous thing you share.

A fantastic experience! - This was a highlight of our trip to Palermo. As a pair of foodies, this is an unmissable experience for all levels, good fun and great food. We were fortunate to be grouped with a lovely American family who we enjoyed sharing this experience with. Marco is a brilliant host and welcomed us like family. Thank you

Incredible Experience - We truly cannot say enough good things about this experience. Marco made our trip to Palermo even more special than it already was. He shows you the true heart of the city and makes everyone in the class feel like family. The food is amazing and the company is even better. If you're debating taking this class, you absolutely should. It has been the best part of our vacation and I can't imagine it being topped. We will be back!!

A must do in Palermo - Such a fun event. The market experience was amazing. Preparing the whole meal from scratch was brilliant and leant so much. Cannot wait to try at home. A very patient teacher and a funny guy. There were 6 in the group a couple of vegetarians nothing was a bother. It was fun and informative, well worth the money.

Great experience with a proper and fun Chef Palermitano! Don't miss it! - Marco is super friendly and explains everything in a fun way. He is very passionate, a proper Chef who gives you technical advice and tips while always throwing in a joke or two and all this makes the experience really fun. We started at the market buying and tasting many ingredients, went to his beautiful house and cooked in his kitchen. We were only 4 "students" in our case so it was very private and nice. We cooked some antipasto (starters) with swordfish and many other ingredients and we did pasta carbonara while we were also drinking, learning and having a laugh. We ate afterwards in the top notch scenery of his dinning room with golden cutlery and a gorgeous table and it was very pleasant. The only think I would change is that I really wanted to do pasta from scratch or something specifically Sicilian (Carbonara being from Rome). All in all, this was a great experience and I defo recommend it!
