Fantastic!!! - The most impressive place on our trip to Sicily. The best preserved temples outside Greece. So interesting to see, try to learn something about it before coming to Agrigento. Got the feeling that you are for the moment back 2000 years and feel the life in that time. Nice to see whether you are in school or retired!!

A must see site. - Stunning ancient Greek temples in a fabulous setting. Very atmospheric. Also wonderful 360 degree views of the surrounding countryside. Need more seating as longish walk between sites.

Great Day with Amazing Sights & Countryside - This was a unique and amazing experience! We visited the Roman ruins with amazing mosaics (skip the food stands, in fact pack your lunch because all the available food is not good!) and then went on to Valley of the Temples where we had an excellent guide, Guilia, who was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. These sites are not accessible in a day unless you have a car and know Sicily. Private tours and transport are available but expensive. This tour was less than 30 people on 2 small buses which did not feel like a cattle call, but was very reasonably priced. Definitely recommend.

Romans - The history of these ancient ruins were amazing. Lots of history about Sicily I did not know about. Loved Villa Romano. The Romans really did invent modern civilization. Great tour and tour guide!!!!!

Interesting - Driver was good but they split us into two buses and the lead was not in our bus. I feel we missed some information. It was a long day. The guide at the Valley of the Temples was exceptional. Both sites are worth seeing.

History Buff’s Delight - I loved the temples of Hera and Concordia. I also liked the greenery at Agrigento. I probably needed more guidance at Villa Romana del Casale. I didn’t see everything. I got a bit lost.

The mosaics themselves... - The mosaics themselves are worth the trip. We had a great guide. Only downside was the bus which was so cramped I had to sit with my legs in the aisle. This type of bus should NOT be used for such a trip.

A Very Hot visit - Bring a Hat! - Visited family near to Agrigento and went to see the Temples on way home. We arrived late afternoon and realised under 18s were admitted free. However they will check and you will need photo ID! A photo of your passport is acceptable. The buildings are incredible but there is a fair bit of walking which is fine if it’s not above 30 degrees!! There is a shuttle bus which charges 4euro per person. This will not take all day and looking at the Temples & maybe grabbing a water will take no more than a few hours. A bit pricey given that 30 years ago it was free!
