Mallorca: First Time Was a Charm - I held a yoga retreat in Mallorca at a beautiful venue called Son Foguero near Maria de Salut, then took a week to relax on my own in the Santanyi area. I travel a lot, and I have to say Mallorca is one of the most easy, pleasurable places I have been to. Both the terrain and the people have a lovely gentlesness about them. And the sea is beyond comparison for a ocean baby like myself. The island has tremendous contrast offering the charming city of Palma (and the Miro Foundation nearby,) the pine filled mountain ranges and medeival towns, the coves with their clear aqua water.... The only mild disappointment for me was Cala Santany, which I had read was a charming town with a beach that was less touroisty than others on the island. The town has no real charm and the beach was quite crowded with German tourists, nary a Spaniard in view. Nearby Cala Figuera is quite quaint — a good place for a walk and lunch — but no beach to offer. That said, overall my trip was so enjoyable I plan on returning again sometime soon!

Great experience! - Excellent time on this trip with our amazing captain! So knowledgeable and kind. He ensured we would have a chance to paddle board and swim if desired and selected a route that would allow for a comfortable ride and not to rough.

Great boat tour - highly recommend. - We went mid-October with our tour led by Antonio. The water was a bit rougher when we set off but we still had a wonderful experience. We were able to swim, snorkel, and paddleboard even though conditions might not have been the best possible. Antonio took time to explain the history and geography of the coastline from Palma and Llucmajor. We enjoyed the snacks, pizza, and drinks provided as well. I would highly recommend a try, especially if you find a good weather window.

Great time sailing on... - Great time sailing on this boat yesterday! The host was very hospitable and we enjoyed learning about the island and the best places to snorkel from him! Highly recommend going at sunset for the incredible views — more than worth the money!

Weather didn’t cooperate but the captain came through - We planned this early and unfortunately the weather didn’t cooperate with it being cloudy and windy, however even given that the tour went forward as needed, the captain provided blankets and lovely pizzas to snack on, he told us it was worth it to go for a swim even if it didn’t seem so given it was a little chilly and was totally correct as the water was beautiful and warm! We spent the rest of the time making new friends with the other people on the boat and had a great time

Fun times on the water - Antonio was very friendly and responsive and easy going. We enjoyed a beautiful day on the Mediterranean including paddle boarding and swimming. The snorkeling and snacks were a bit underwhelming.

THE CAPTAIN DOES NOT GET PAID TO SERVE - The title to my review says it all! Upon arriving 15 minutes late the captain told us that only 2 drinks were included with the sail. -Water counts as one of the drinks As we left, I asked for a water and the captain handed me his personal "crusty" thermos with warm water and again reminded me that only 2 drinks were included with the 4 hr $500 sail -I assured him that I understood and requested my first drink and opted out of the thermos bath water. He gave me the drink with a dirty look. This was the tone for the rest of the sail -The Captain was also VERY reckless pulling sails and operating the boat as we were dodging lines and beams without any warning from the captain. At one point the beam hit my back before i was able to dodge it. Again, no warning from the entitled captain. -I have been on many cruises and own a boat and have never seen such negligence and disrespect from a Captain. Steer clear if you can!!
