Nestled beautifully by the water, Palma Cathedral’s address is marked by its closeness to the sea, with only the Parc de La Mar in between. Known as La Seu, the cathedral captivates with its fusion of Baroque, Gothic, Renaissance, and Modernism styles. Initiated in 1230 by King Jaume I in the Gothic style, it has been expanded over the centuries, showcasing a blend of different eras inside. The rose window, glazed in 1599, ranks among the largest in the world. Notably, Antoni Gaudí contributed by designing the presbytery. - Castell de Bellver - Discover the unique Gothic castle overlooking Palma. The breathtaking view of the city and region is remarkable, and the circular floor plan makes the castle truly special. Inside, a city museum offers an exciting journey through Palma’s history. The three original towers and the later-added “Torre del Homenaje” tower add elegance to the stone fortress.
- Fundacion Bartolome March - Palau March, once the town palace of the renowned Mallorcan March family, was built in 1939 and later became part of the Bartolomé March Severa Foundation. In 2003, Joan March’s descendants opened a museum showcasing his art and book collection, including sculptures by Rodin, murals by Dalì, paintings, antiques, and Mallorcan cartographies. The city palace provides a unique view over the harbor and Palma.
- Museu Diocesà - Explore the Museu Diocesà de Mallorca within the Bishop’s Palace. The exhibition is divided into seven sections, displaying works from the island’s early Christianity to the 20th century. The permanent exhibition features 200 artifacts from convents, monasteries, churches, and private donations, offering a historical journey through Mallorcan Christianity. Exhibits include archaeological finds, Gothic and modernist paintings and sculptures, ceramics, furniture, and a room dedicated to Antonio Gaudí and Pere Joan Campins, inaugurated in 2004. A highlight is a 16th-century altarpiece by Pere Niçard, depicting medieval Ciutat de Mallorca.
- Palma Aquarium - Embark on a fascinating journey through the wonders of the sea at Palma Aquarium. Dive into a vibrant world full of color, diversity, and captivating creatures. Explore underwater marvels in 8 themed areas, including the Mediterranean, the Tropics, the Jungle, and the Medusarium. Discover the beauty and fragility of the marine environment through informative exhibitions and interactive experiences. Welcome to an unforgettable adventure in the heart of Palma de Mallorca!

- Jardins d’Alfàbia - The garden entrance features a wide avenue lined with large plane trees, leading to the “Clastra,” a typical patio of significant Majorcan country houses. At the avenue’s end, a facade opens to the garden’s highlight: a pergola with water fountains, reconstructed in the early 18th century. The pergola extends half its length with twenty-four stone hydras, and the numerous water jets intersect, creating a sensory experience of shimmering and murmuring water.
