Highlights
  • Mirador ses Barques - Viewpoint to see all of Sóller
  • Embalse de Gorg Blau - Artificial reservoir that supplies water to the city of Palma. It is located in the Sierra de Tramuntana, surrounded by mountains. It was declared a Natural Monument by the Government of the Balearic Islands in 2003.
  • Cuber - Artificial reservoir that supplies water to the city of Palma. It is located in the Sierra de Tramuntana, surrounded by mountains. It was declared a Natural Monument by the Government of the Balearic Islands in 2003.
  • Nus de Sa Corbata - The Nus de sa Corbata, the road that connects the Lluc road with sa Calobra, a road that combines ingenuity and an incomparable setting. An intricate road that accesses sa Calobra that has the famous curve in which the road passes under itself in a daring loop
  • Sa Calobra - Sa Calobra is an impressive set of two genuine Mallorcan beaches, sheltered between steep rocky cliffs, and divided by the Torrent de Pareis
  • Port de Soller - Port de Sóller is located in the bay of the same name, on the north coast of Mallorca. It is connected by road and by tram with the small town of Sóller, at the foot of the Serra de Tramuntana.
  • Soller - Sóller is in fashion and it is not by chance. The small town that gives its name to the valley in the heart of the Serra de Tramuntana combines landscape, heritage and a good offer of leisure and restaurants. Any traveler spending a few days in Mallorca cannot miss a visit to this villa surrounded by mountains just three kilometers from the sea.
  • El Tren de Soller - Just by crossing the threshold of Palma station you already feel transported back in time. The singular railway enclosure constitutes an oasis of calm and tranquility in the midst of the bustle of the city.

The station, located next to one of the nodes of Palma de Mallorca, Plaza de España, is made up of a modernist building with three bodies, the garage and the space for the tracks, where a locomotive or passenger wagon often rests.

If you arrive with enough time, from the platform, covered with a canopy that offers shade and shelter to the traveler, you can watch the coupling maneuvers of the truck to the rest of the convoy, a process that, between the trumpet calls of the signalmen and the deep beeps from the ancient machine, has been repeated daily for more than a century.

What's Included
  • In-vehicle air conditioning
Additional Information

Embark on a memorable journey across the island of Majorca. Relish in the sight of the Sierra de Tramuntana and its man-made lakes, a region recognized as a World Heritage site by UNESCO. The journey continues on the winding road of La Calobra, a marvel of engineering.

Upon arrival in La Calobra, marvel at its towering cliffs and crystal-blue waters. From the same port in La Calobra, we will set sail and follow the coastline till we reach Port de Sóller, the largest natural harbor in the Sierra de Tramuntana, cradled amidst the mountains.

At the port, we will take a tram that’s been in operation for over a century, for a scenic ride to the town of Sóller – a stone’s throw away from the port and regarded as one of Spain’s most picturesque towns. We will then hop on a vintage train from Sóller for a rewarding trip back to Palma, along old tracks that transport you back in time.

  • Our tour includes a boat trip. If the captain of the boat decides not to go out due to bad weather or rough seas, we will make an alternative route without a boat. The money will not be refunded if the boat is cancelled, since we will make an alternative route through the mountains.

Well organised day out - We took the trip via coach to soller train then on to tram ride boat trip and coach through the mountains. Pick up was prompt and the front seats had been reserved for us as my husband has mobility issues. The guide took a personal interest in looking after us really well. It might seem a bit off to some to be told to hush during the commentaries in four languages (so impressive) but we understood why as people chatter through everyone else's. Train ride was exhilarating. Very long black tunnel if you are afraid of that which we weren't. Tram ride cute and gave us insight into inland area and people's homes rather than hotels.Boat trip ended at idyllic little beach with time to swim or have lunch.drive through mountains hair raising but in a good way as driver excellent at negotiating hairpin bends and speeding cyclists. We thoroughly enjoyed it and felt well supported by vivienne and her umbrella guiding us. Just sad that so many people got off without tipping as a lot of effort went into it.

A lot of travelling - This is a ten hour trip and free time is less than 3 hours. An awful lot of travelling so beware. Having said that, it's a good way to see a lot of the island and the tram is very enjoyable but probably standing room only. If its rough seas then boat will be cancelled so more time on the coach. I went with tui and sent them similar emails.

Very disappointing - We were really looking forward to a special day trip, celebrating a special birthday. What we encountered was a painfully long 3 hour coach journey with a 30 minute stop at the cyclist cafe to use the loo! We were expecting 1hr 30 mins at a beach (as sold), what we had was 2hrs in Colabra, which is not suitable for anyone with any kind of mobility issues and a dreadful shingle beach, or a choice to walk through the gorge. No one in their right mind would take this choice after being told constantly for 3hrs that it was overrun with pick pockets. The cafes are horrible and overpriced. Then a 45-50 mini boat ride, the best part of the whole day, to the lovely port of Soller, with sadly less than an hour to explore. The team into town took us straight to the train station, with no time whatsoever to explore the town, which I beautiful. So in summary, unless you really want to do the trip through the mountains winding roads, accompanied by non stop commentary in 4 languages, please avoid this trip

Tour Company never picked us up - The tour operator never indicated that we needed to contact them a day before. They had the reservation in their booking system, but did not have anything in their schedule to pick us up.

That was nothing... - The bus ride over the Tramuntana was spectacular. Lots to see and a confident bus driver. Then we arrived in Es Calobra to see the small bay behind the tunnels. Construction site, we couldn't get any further and sat there waiting for the boat for two hours. So we didn't see the first stop. Then no boat came, boat tour cancelled. Very disappointing, I was looking forward to the boat tour the most. The tour guide's reaction was 'it's just like that'. There was no mention of either of the mishaps. The first train ride was then overcrowded. After changing trains from Soller it was quite nice. The tour guide spoke everything in three languages, unfortunately almost nothing about the island. Conclusion: Don't book under any circumstances!

Disappointing day trip - A bus tour through the wonderful Tramuntana mountains to Calobra. In Calobra you couldn't go into the bay - there was a permanent construction site. We waited 2 hours for the boat that was supposed to take us to Port Söller. Shortly before the wait was over, we were told that the boat wasn't coming. Why was just speculation. I had the feeling that we were only there to serve the restaurants. So we took the bus back, waited in Söller for the train, then waited again for the train that took us to Palma. We took this to the hotel. It felt like we spent 100 hours sitting in the bus and train in beautiful sunny weather. The tour guide spoke 3 languages (great) but hardly said anything about the island, just repeated the daily routine. I'm curious whether there will be any financial compensation.

A long day - Unnecessary time wasted in the mountain stop at a refresh stall with top drink Etc prices and a tin shack with only one toilet so coach loads of people in line waiting. Waste of time. Stops like these with long unnecessary periods spent visiting egtram at dollar ant long period …spent at tourist shops mainly. Train back through longest tunnel ever , very fast, very scary. A day long trip that’s a time waster, designed for staff gratuity at stops. NEVER AGAIN!

Avoid this Lmon tour - Two (ancient) coaches arrived at resort from LMON tours. One broke down. We were on another (see pic) which made so many stops that the 30 minute trip to Palma took 2 hours. Then a change of coach and another hour to the first stop in fairly unremarkable mountains. Make sure your bladder can cope with a 3 hour wait. You also get a constant commentary in 4 languages. The stop was a cyclists café with basic toilets (see pic). Another hour to Sa Colobra. It has six identical overpriced cafes with basic food. I would suggest you take your own on this journey as you are in this mediocre town for 90 minutes waiting for the boat to Port Soller. The boat journey was fine but only gave us 20 minutes in the port. Then on the old tram (nice) to Soller where again we only had 25 minutes before the train leaves. Train journey also nice. Luckily we got a rapid return mini bus to our resort but many stayed on coach for a lengthy return journey. Trip nice idea but it does not work as it tries to fit in too much. Would recommend public bus to Palma, train to Soller, tram to Port and bus back to Palma. Allow 90 minutes in Port for lunch and 60 minutes in Soller. Forget boat trip, or go on smaller group tour avoiding Sa Colobra and mountains.

Never again! - Full day tour for €79 per person by bus, boat, train and tram via Lmon Tours. Booked at the hotel in Paguera. The worst tour of my life! The pick-up was announced for 8:20. The bus arrives at 8:45 - no comment on the delay... It goes without saying that in preparation for the tour, like with the airport transfer, a dozen stations are visited to pick up a few people. I had mentally included this for the outward and return journey. Of course, it doesn't make the whole thing any better. The tour guide V. tells everything four times (Spanish, German, English, French), speaking is forbidden during her explanations. She speaks nonstop, by the way. Audio guides would have been a dream!! The visit to the market in Inca announced in the booking was cancelled - again without comment. First stop: A restaurant somewhere in the middle of nowhere BEFORE reaching the tie knot with a tin shack as a toilet and souvenir shop. Just for a quick toilet visit. We pass the tie knot shortly afterwards with almost no comment, just a brief warning immediately beforehand. OK, I know it. But I doubt that all the passengers feel the same. What a pity. There would have been a (nicer) restaurant and toilets here. Second stop Sa Calobra. It is 11:38. After the brief warning that the boat that will take us to Soller will arrive at 3:00 p.m. and that we should be on time, we are spat out. Anyone who knows Sa Calobra will ask themselves whether a 3.5 hour stop is not a bit long. The boat does not arrive until 3:25 p.m. We quickly realise the reason for the delay, namely the heavy waves that take us to Port de Soller after a nerve-racking one-hour journey. The subsequent journeys by tram and Red Blitz are quite beautiful due to the panoramas. Here, however, the guide is completely silent, as she was on the ship, so for a total of 2 hours, and there are no more explanations. From Palma we then take the bus back to Paguera - with the guide's explanation that we are probably tired now, but so is she - she "rounds off" this completely wasted day of vacation. We arrive back at the hotel at 7:30 p.m. ... I know the tour from another provider to be completely different, with photo stops and tips on important spots and short guided tours. Here, however, we were driven around for hours and left completely to ourselves during the only, almost four-hour "free time" in a godforsaken place.
