Visit Thursday, December 14 with Jason - Visit with Jason, a great guide who knows the history of the island perfectly and its must-see places. Incomparably kind, in short, the perfect guide. Corinne and François (DE)BEAUVOIR

Excellent service from Raggoo. - Just back from a fantastic trip with Raggoo. Stroll in the past tour of the north of the island. Could not recommend him enough, so very knowledgeable and welcoming! We saw soo much in the day, Raggoo was always on hand and an attentive tour guide. The selection of activities was perfect for a day!

Interesting and varied tour - The Maurtourco desk at the airport sorted us very quickly on arrival and took us to our hotel. The rep met us the day after we arrived and explained how things worked on Mauritius and what we could do. We chose the historical tour by coach. The guide was excellent and spoke English as well as Italian - switching between languages fluently. She knew the sites we were visiting and ably guided us around the Botanic Gardens, then the sugar/rum factory before Port Louis and the aquarium. A fabulous day out and excellent value (£170 for the two of us which included all the entry fees).

Excellent tour to see many different places in Mauritius. - The tour of pamplemousse gardens with our guide Wendolene ( sorry if misspelt) was excellent the information and history was very interesting and we learnt a lot. The sugar museum was informative and thought provoking as it covered the history including forced labour/ slave trade. The views from the citadel were fabulous. The visit to Port Louis was a contrast between the hustle and bustle of the market and Caudan waterfront. I think we would have preferred to miss the market and have longer at Caudan. By the time we got to the aquarium ( which was worth seeing) we were ready to come home as it as a full on day. Our guide was excellent and informative throughout the day.

This tour is well worth the money... -
This tour is well worth the money and we can highly recommend it. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and pointed out many interesting features and facts at all the venues. The tour is ideal for visitors who only have one day in the north as it includes a wide variety of venues, from Pamplemousses Botanical Gardens, the Sugar Museum and Port Louis.

Vacation - Gorgeous garden, but essential to take a guide at the entrance, they cost little €2-3 each but it's worth it at least you know what you're looking at They all speak a bit of languages

Historical Guided Day Tour: From Pamplemousses Botanical Garden to Port Louis - It was a good tour with some spirited commentary by the guide through the day. The afternoon hours could have been extended to accommodate one more place of visit rather than leave guests at the last point of visit to spend 3 hours at. Port Louis market is for shopping and not all visitors go on guided tours for shopping!
