This is an all-encompassing tour featuring the premier highlights around San Sebastián and throughout the Guipúzcoa province. We’ll start by heading through Mount Igueldo to explore the tranquil fishing hamlet of Orio, strolling through its historic district before driving through ‘txurruka’, a region known for its txakoli wine cultivation. Here, we’ll pause for a photo opportunity at the summit, overlooking Zarautz and an old steel loading bay.
Next, we proceed along the shore to Getaria, the hometown of Juan Sebastian Elcano and fashion icon Valenciaga. In Getaria, our journey starts at the bustling fisherman’s harbor, ascending to various historic monuments while observing local chefs preparing the renowned charcoal grilled fish outdoors.
The tour then takes us to Zumaia, where we will witness the renowned flysch cliffs that served as a filming location for Game of Thrones.
