I recommend it. HANDS DOWN! - The Tour Guide Olga and the Driver Ali were great. We were well treated and the tour information was professionally presented. Nice lunch. There is a museum and ruins to visit, and our guide did a very good job putting in context the importance of Pamukkale and its place in history.

Amazing place, beautiful views and... -
Amazing place, beautiful views and great opportunities to take photos. Highly recommend paying a couple of extra liras to experience Cleopatra's pool.
The only reason I am giving 4 star review is that we were placed in a Russian speaking bus, thus we couldn't get proper info throughout most of the tour we had an English speaking guide when we got there and at the stop points.
Also, it was very disappointing when we kept on being brought to shopping places such as textile and leather factories and wine making shop where we spent around 30-45 minutes at each and then were told that we have 25mins for lunch ! and only 3hours to enjoy the actual Pamukkale. So we needed to really rush to be able to see Hierapolis at the end.

Beautiful and divers site but little time to absorb it all - My first reaction is that a one day tour from Kemer to Pamukkale is not recommended if you are hoping to spend time and enjoy this park at your leisure. However that is the trade-off made if you have limited time and still want to visit this site. Our tour bus met us at our hotel in Kemer before 5am, and we embarked with a nearly full busload of tourists. After about two hours, our first stop was at a gift shop / coffee shop. Not soon after that, we again stopped at a wine shop for a sell on local wines (very sweet, not at all representative of Turkey's wider known wines), and then another shop for textiles and gems. The total trip including gift shops and a lunch to Parmukkale was about six hours, arriving before noon, and allocating about three hours to see the sites. We started first with the Salt formations, walking along the structure (be careful here - barefoot only, slipper and rough surface). By this time the site was very crowded, however a beautiful site to enjoy. Afterwards we entered Cleopatra's baths, where you can enjoy the mineral waters (great for your skin - stay in as long as you can), and finally a tour of the Hierapolis structures on the site. The ride back to the hotel was faster (fewer stops), arriving about 19:00. I cannot say that I was disappointed in this activity. As I said if you only have a day, this type of tour is the way to go unless you drive yourself 4+ hours each way.
