It's a Thumbs up from us - This holiday was a special trip for me and my middle son for his 20th birthday, when we arrived we started perusing the trips, singling out the ones we wanted to go on., initially we thought we were going to get priced out this trip, and then we found it on viator, alas we could include it in our iteninary of things to do. Yes we were sceptical as it was so much cheaper than the other excursions, but thankfully we didn't need to worry. Eren our tour guide was exemplary, yes it was a long day, the travel time can be tedious and yes there were obvious Market stops before we got there, but Eren was always a joy..... On the journey there, Eren kept us up to date with information and facts of surrounding areas, once there,he was efficient in keeping us all organised, taking us around showing us where everything was, before setting us free to roam the wilds for ourself. The calcium pools were stunning, be warned though, it is very very slippy in places and can be uncomfortable under foot. But be brave and it's worth it. The museum is fantastic, we were both quite stunned at the age of some of the antiquities, we then walked up to the Theatre, honestly our jaws dropped, the pictures just do not do that place justice, truly truly stunning. The only gripe is, I wish we had longer. Over all a massive Thumbs Up to Eren and Viator for helping my son and me make Memories ❤️

Must see Pamukkale - The tour van arrived on time at the specified location. There was enough seat for all the guests. I will mention that I did have to sit in a seat that was facing the opposite direction from the direction we were driving but I did not mind this but if you are someone who is prone to motion sickness/car sickness then please inform the other people and they may be able to switch your seat. The driver was friendly and got us safely and on time to the different location. There was a good amount of opportunities to use the toilet on the way to Pamukkale. The lunch was a buffet style. The food was range of salad, soups, chicken, rice spaghetti etc... drink are extra. After lunch we were taken to a jewelry factory/store that make jewelry from sultanate and other items made from stones from the Pamukkale area (There was no obligation from anyone to force you to buy anything). As part of the tour you get 10% discount if you pay by card and 20% discount if you pay by cash. Euro, dollar and pounds accepted. We did buy some nice rings from there and some special healing cups. After the Jewelers we went to shop specializing in home bedding, towels and scarf etc..made from local cotton grown in the area ( we did stop by a cotton field to take photos before reach here). They also sold other stuff like jerseys, shirts, shoes etc.... As part of the tour you got a 50% discount on everything in store with a voucher provided in store on arrival. (Also no obligation to buy anything here as well)Finally after this we headed to Pamukkale. Throughout the journey Ceyda gave us information about the difference place we would visit she was very knowledgeable about Pamukkale and gave us time to ask questions. Pamukkale was very interesting and the sight's were very beautiful. There is an optional mini hike to the Roman theater if you are not as mobile this may not be advisable to walk up ( there is an optional golf style cart they you can ride to get around but this is an extra optional charge). There are place to eat and drink from and there are toilets available. The Cleopatra hot springs pool cost extra we did not swim in it but if you want there is time to do so. Keep in mind that the pool was out in a very open area so other non swimming people could see you in the pool. There is a lot of calcium terraces. The first calcium terrorist is the closest one to you and you are required to take off your shoes you are required to be barefoot while in the calcium terrace.Other terraces are down a steeper slope down the calcium walkway. Please keep in mind that if you do go in the first terrace that I went in there is a lot of algae in the water so it can be very slippery so be careful. After this we went back to our hotel with one stop before to use the toilet. Overall we enjoyed this tour and we would recommend it to our friends and family. Lastly I just want to inform you that from where we were located it was 3 hours to get to Pamukkale and 3 hours back so if you are not fond of long journeys this may not be for you.

Pamukkale Tour - Tour organisation via WhatsApp was nice and simple and instructions for the morning.
Our guide Eren was friendly and chatty right from the start, he gave us some information as we drove starting with where we set off and some information about Pamukkale also which was interesting.
He was very patient with some in our group, he deserves a shout out just for that!
They were approx 15 minutes late for pick up, but no problem as we were one of the last. It was a small group for sure with 11 of us in a minibus which is much nicer than a large coach. The actual minibus itself was comfy and good air con.
Upon embarking we were advised to pay for the Pamukkale entrance fee in cash…we didn’t have enough for both so I’d suggest this being advised prior to pick up.
However on the flip side, it did make getting into the area a little faster.
We had two breaks on the way as well as lunch. Lunch wasn’t great. Neither myself or partner liked this. It was Buffet style and was hot however not great.
Once we got to Hieropolis I was expecting a bit more of a tour as suggested, rather than just walked to where the different view points were, so this was a bit disappointing as this part felt forgotten about as it was more of a point things out as we walked past.
We were given 3 hours of free time (however this was more like 2 1/2 by the time we had gotten out of the car park/ all through ticket barrier etc. I think 4 hours would’ve been better if we were not to have the group guided tour.
The actual time at Pamukkale was lovely, busy but not rammed.
We then opted to pay to go in Cleopatra pool which was so lovely and warm. Not something I’d do again but a good experience.
