Cycling, sweating, and scenery - The ride was not easy - great exercise - with rewarding cities like San Marcos and San Juan to explore and excellent eating and coffee stops. Loved our guide, Mario, and all the places he took us. He was especially wonderful with our 11 year old son.

A wonderful way to experience Lake Atitlán! - My son and I rode with Marcelino from Jaibalito to San Juan. The bicycles were in great condition and Marcelino was a considerate and knowledgable guide. The road was steep and rough at times, but he patiently walked with us when we needed to dismount from our bikes. I wouldn't recommend this trip for someone who's not in fair shape. It was a great way to see a lot of the areas around the lake without noisy and smelly tuc tucs or speedboats. We very much enjoyed the visits to the weaving cooperative and chocolate factory in San Juan. Highly recommend

Fun/Fit Way to See Atitlan Towns - Very cool tour! Not gonna lie, the mountain bikes were hard - it’s a lot of up and down literal mountains, and we were struggling as generally fit people in our 20s/30s. That said, the exercise was welcome after a week of Gallos and pepian, and the bike path becomes a lot more manageable halfway through. And it was a great way to see some of the towns around the lake. We spent a lot of time in San Juan where we saw presentations from a honey coop and a textile coop and got a chance to shop. The larger coffee plantation was closed, but our fantastic guide Mario took us to a smaller shop where we could still see the coffee beans and try some great coffee. Mario was also super helpful as we went shopping for art and souvenirs. We decided to end the tour a little early and skipped the chocolate museum and the last town, and Mario was super flexible and picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel via boat. Would def recommend if you’re up for the exercise, but the tour company in general is fantastic, and Mario was saying they have many other ways of seeing the towns.

Great Day Activity - Great tour with beautiful views! Marcelino was an awesome tour guide and very encouraging as we attempted to make it up the steep hills! The bikes were very nice and we had no issues. The tour of San Juan was great and we stopped at the the best co-op’s. I highly recommend this tour!

Great bike tour! - Our guide, Alex, made the tour the excellent excursion that it was. With some tough climbs, the town to town tour was hard for one teen member of our group, and Alex should be singularly credited for keeping smiles on everyone’s faces. The coffee tour and weaving cooperatives were highlights and the views from the road were incredible. The bikes were solid but they did need repairs as we travelled. A wonderful adventure!

Sweet and Sour tour - Very tough to write a review when we had so much fun and at the same time the tour did not complied with our expectations. Let me explain, On the plus side Mario was an awesome guide, very attentive and well versed in the local customs and traditions, positive attitude and very friendly, the town of San Juan is wonderful, many very entertaining activities to enjoy. On the down side, bicycles were in terrible condition and one of our party (we were 6) could not participate in cycling because tour operator did not provided an adequate bicycle for her small size even when days before the tour we were asked about our measurements (weight and height), ¿why did you asked for this information if you where not to be careful to provide appropriate-sized bicycles? In the end our friend had to skip cycling and go directly to the town of San Juan.

Terrible experience it’s a ripoff. - We decided to go on the tour expecting to have a value added over us renting on our own the bikes. However, the quality of the bikes were terrible, the chain of one of the bikes broke and we had to return on a comunal pickup. The guide never helped nor gave us any information he just rode in front of us. After coming back on the pickup he took us to return the bines where he rebted them, we had to walk to the dock and there he left us in a public boat that took 45min to get us to our hotel. It was trully a disappointment. We ended up paying $300usd for something we could have done our own for $50usd
