Kayak/Hike Was Beautiful - We had such an enjoyable morning with Fernando. Because we weren't staying in Panajachel, we arranged to meet him at the lancha dock. Then it was off to Los Elementos to get the kayaks. It was great to see the lake from that level and then, later, from our hike on the Lower Mayan trail from Santa Cruz to Jaibalito. Lake Atitlan is stunning! After a stop at El Indigo (great views, coffee, and food), Fernando accompanied us back to Panajachel. He also took some great photos of our morning and shared them with us, which was greatly appreciated.

Getting active! - We had a great time floating out on the lake. Clear beautiful day. We did the 1/2 day which was perfect. Our guide Antonio was also great. Lunch at Indigo Cafe of fresh fish was ideal!

Perfect first day - It was our first day in Panajachel and we had a blast with Diego. We picked the full day kayak and hike and we weren’t disappointed. We even got to go cliff jumping! Diego took great pictures of us and we never felt rushed.

Thank you!! - Kayak Guatemala was so organized from start to finish. We were arriving for the day from Antigua and they had pickups and drop offs ready for us. We enjoyed kayaking and hiking with our guide Mario, who was so enthusiastic about his home town Santa Cruz and took great care of us! Lee and his wife (owners of Kayak Guatemala) were very kind and hospitable as well.

Kayak and hike tour - We had the best time on this tour! We lucked out with an amazing guide, Fernando. He helped us with transportation from Santa Catalina to Pana when our hotel was not helpful. From there, he was so flexible with how we wanted the tour to look and was the perfect level of engagement with us throughout the tour. We did the longer kayak and hike option and it was definitely rigorous but doable. It was amazing views and got to cliff jump along the way. Highly recommend!

Lake Atitlan, kayaking, hiking, and sightseeing experience with Edvin - Edvin, our guide was fantastic. His English was very good explaining Mayan Culture and local attractions showing us off the paths non tourist sites. He easily accommodated a schedule change for us and found us a good local restaurant to eat. Thank you again Edvin you made our stay extra special!

Our guide, Edvin, was... - Our guide, Edvin, was very kind and accomodating. He was also very knowladeble and shared all kind of information abour Lake Atitlan and the Mayan culture. He was flexible according to our need. The tour itself is a lot of fun and varied, with hiking, kayaking, visting of a village and lunch at another village. The facilities at his base are very comfortamble and has a terrific view of the lake

Adventure by Water and Land - Leading up to the trip, there were communication issues as to which day the tour was booked for, and I had to send confirmation pictures. We also had to change our time to accommodate another group or cancel. While on the trip, our guide was very energetic and excited to be there. We kayaked for about an hour, had coffee, then began the hike back to Santa Cruz that lasted just over 2 hours (have good walking/hiking shoes for this part). 2 of our friends that were supposed to go had to cancel, and our guide tried to make up for the experience by offering us different options to make up for the cost difference.
