This was a great way to... - This was a great way to spend a day at lake Atitlan and we enjoyed supporting the Mayan community. The tour was both informative and enjoyable. You will visit various shops but the presentations were short and most had seating available while you listened. Art, chocolate, textile and honey was included. The lunch was delcious and we ordered before we got there so the food was ready as we arrived to the next island. The Camerones a la plancha was delicious and well seasoned. Juan Carlos was a dynamic presenter and explained in both English and Spanish and answered any questions. 10/10, highly recommend.

Our guide focused the... - Our guide focused the tour on the Mayan cultura and was very insightful. It wasn’t a tour juts designed for shopping. The price si quite reasonable for your can get, costing two villages and five different Mayan cooperatives. It’s doesn’t felt on a rush and the guide gave us different options for lunch.

We Enjoyed This Adventure - We really enjoyed this 6 hour tour. The various demonstrations showing how chocolate is made, and honey plus textile products was interesting. There is a steep hike up a long street with various shops along the way you should be aware of. It’s a bit of a challenge if you’re older like me! That said, nice tour of two villages along the lake.

Fantastic Day on the Lake! - This experience was amazing and well worth the price. Juan Carlos was patient, friendly, and very knowledgeable. I was just expecting to be shown around Lake Atitlan, but we got a chance to visit a textile shop, chocolate making class, and a honey making class in San Juan. We then ate a tasty lunch at lake Santiago. Our tour guide was more than willing to make sure we captured beautiful pictures as well. Lastly, I would say to take the warning of persons with back issues seriously. A few people on our tour found the boat ride hard on their backs due to the bumpiness. Overall, I had a great day, and this was the perfect day to end my last day at Lake Atitlan. Thank you!

Recommended 100% - This was the best tour. Juan Carlos our guide was great. The tours was very cultural. We learned a lot about the Mayan culture and saw different thing like how textiles were made. And had some chocolate tasting which were delicious. The boat ride is the best because of the view.

Day on the Lake! - A great way to explore the lake - a small size group and lots of beautiful places to see while on land. The tour guides provided the perfect itinerary for the day and the history of the towns was so interesting. Would highly recommend.

Wonderful a full-day tour from Panajachel - We really enjoyed the boat tour to 3 towns (San Juan, San Pedro and Santiago) at Lake Atitlan from Panajachel. The tour guide (Jose) collected us just before 9:10 am at the appointment location, and we returned to the Panajachel at 4:00 pm. The group size was about 18 people, but there are 2 guides (one for Spanish, one for English) so English group was only 7 people including us. Our tour guide, Maria was excelent! Highly recommend the tour.

4 Stars - I don’t really give them the 5 stars just because they didn’t give me advance notice of the time of departure, they almost left us, and that’s what I was calling in advance and they didn’t answer me. Otherwise it was a nice experience.

Find alternative options - Huge groups so you end up standing around a lot waiting for others, so we were about 15-20 mins late to everything. For example, we spent a total of 10 mins in San Pedro because we were late leaving every other activity and ran out of time. There is also a lot of stores on this tour—honey tour, textiles tour, and art studio are all opportunities to sell you things. Overall, it was an okay experience but a lot of wasted time.

Just OK. I’d try a different one - Tour was a bit too scripted. I wanted free time to explore but instead the group was dragged from one tourist trap store to the next (a honey store, a textile store, etc) that were not listed on the itinerary. Plus our boat broke down and we were stranded in the lake for over 90 minutes. Tour was not educational at all and the day was very long
