Great wat to experience some of the best views of Lake Atitlàn - Had a great time on the ATV with my fiance. Super picturesque and our guide qent above and beyond the whole way. Highly recommend!

An amazing once in a lifetime opportunity. An absolute must-have adventure! - Our tour guide Jeshua, is an expert in what he does. From the start we could tell he was very passionate about the rich culture and history of Guatemala and kept us safe throughout the entire tour. The atvs are super fun yet surprisingly easy to use, making the ride to your destination as fun and exciting as the destination itself! The staff was very kind and even allowed us to sign up the same day, so if nothing is planned and you have a day off, consider booking a tour! Thank you Simoon and we will definitely visit again!

Yes! Yes, you should do this tour! - Wow! What a wonderful experience, and a great way to explore the lake, and surrounding area. Our guide, Nehemiah, was fabulous - fun personality, took us to great local spots and was very attentive. Highly recommend doing this while you’re in town, it’s a perfect way to spend an afternoon in Panajachel.

A really fun experience with Simoon Tours and our guide Nehemias - Four of us enjoyed our Sunset tour with Simoon in Panajachel. We arrived at the Simoon offices and were fitted for helmets and then given a quick orientation of the ATV's. It helps that we were all familiar with the operation, once we finished the orientation we all purchased 'buffs' as some of the ride would become dusty. If you have your own buff or bandana - make sure to bring them. A short walk from the Simoon offices where they park/store the ATVs, and away we went. You follow your guide through Pana to acclimate to the bike and then off to San Andrés Semetabaj on the main road. Keep in mind you are mixed with traffic, but the guide makes sure you are doing it safely at all times. In San Andrés Semetabaj you head off the main road and get into some real off-roading. Non of the terrain is all that challenging but was a lot of fun. We went through various types of terrain and had the most fun in the soft sand, climbing hills. And climbing you do - all the way up to Mirador Ojo de Águila. There you stop to take in this incredible vista - and you overlook Lake Atitlan and a great view of the 3 volcanos - Atitlán, Tolimán, and San Pedro known as the 3 giants. You have time to take in the view, have something cool to drink - maybe about 20 mins or so. When you are ready you descend and head back to Panajachel on your way to Santa Catarina Palopó. In Santa Catarina Palopó you take another break, this time at Cafe Tuk where you can enjoy some organic artisanal coffee - we all did so and it was fantastic, so much so we bought a few bags to enjoy during our trip. When the group is ready you head back to Pana for the 'sunset' portion of the trip. We pulled into Hotel y Centro de Convenciones Jardines del Lago and found seating by the lake to enjoy the sunset. You can purchase food and drink to go along with the experience. We were treated to a great sunset to cap off the adventure. Our guide Nehemias was superb and spoke excellent English. He was able to answer all of our questions, talk to us about Guatemalan culture, his upbringing and the various types of terrain and topography. We were extremely happy with Nehemias and enjoyed his company. Thank you Nehemias! We would certainly do this tour again when in Panajachel.

Awesome, fun beautiful trip - This was an awesome experience. We loved every minute. Our guide Nehemias might have been our best Viator guide ever, and we have done many viator tours all over the world.

You won’t regret it - This was an amazing experience! my six friends, and I wanted to do a sunset tour in Pana and we couldn’t have chosen a better place to book. Yeshua was our tour guide and he was 10 out of 10.. his English was perfect, P E R F E C T, it definitely caught us off guard in a great way. he was very sweet and patient in explaining everything and setting up expectations. We ran into a couple hiccups, outside his control, like a school parade that happens once a year caught us in traffic as well as some trucks causing traffic in the next town, but he was able to adapt, and make sure to check in with us to ensure we were having fun. he was very patient with two of the girls that were feeling uncomfortable with ATVs and made sure everyone had a fantastic time. The girl that checked us in was also amazing!! Highly recommend booking with Yashua(Yeshua?) I’m sorry if I’m spelling your name wrong!

Good experience - exhilarating and scary sometimes - Off roading in all that dust - exhilarating and scary at the same time. The guide was great and because of the time of year we didn’t see a sunset as it was too cloudy. Great experience!
