This area of monuments is highly sensitive to traffic, especially during peak hours in the afternoon, so in some cases our guides may NOT VISIT this site.

  • Arco Chato - Old Convent of Santo Domingo that preserves the remains of the most emblematic architectural piece of the Old Town at the end of the 18th century. Believe it or not, this same piece of architecture EL ARCO CHATO (Flat Arch), was the key during the Panama Canal negotiations between the United States and France.
  • Plaza Carlos V - A tribute to the King of Spain Carlos V. This character is credited with the title of being the first to envision a transoceanic route through Panama to unite the two largest oceans in the world … The Pacific Ocean and the Atlantic Ocean .

  • France Square - Las Bóvedas, Cuartel Chiriquí or simply La Plaza de Francia (The French Square), is how this incredible place is known, full of stories in each of the corners.

City Tour of Panama City - Nice tour of Panama City. 3D movie at the Panama Canal with a great view of incoming ships aligning to enter into the canal. We toured through the old downtown with the beautiful buildings and churches. Great tour. Thank you

Great start to Panama stay. - My family and I took the private tour option as we were travelling with a child and it was a great experience for all. Our guide was knowledgeable about all the sites we visited. He gave us a well rounded understanding of both the history of Panama as well as modern life. He was also very flexible with the sites and structure so that nothing was too taxing on the younger members of the group.

Great tour! - Carlos was great. I love the mix of history with sights. Don’t skip the movie at the canal, it was surprisingly good. There are lots of photo ops! Ladies, remember to cover your shoulder and knees for the church!

A Well-Organized and Insightful Panama City Tour with Excellent Guide - I had an excellent experience with Conozca Panama Tours Trips507 (booked through Viator) on the Half-Day City and Panama Canal Tour. Our guide, Juan Carlos, was fantastic! He was incredibly knowledgeable about the city's history and knew exactly how to navigate the tour for the best experience. We started our journey at the iconic Panama Canal and then visited several other must-see attractions as outlined in the itinerary. While I do wish we had a bit more time to explore the Amador Causeway, the overall tour was well-paced and enjoyable. The van was comfortable, with thoughtful touches like complimentary water and yuca chips. I also appreciated the prompt communication from the tour company, which reached out via WhatsApp the night before to confirm details. Everything was smooth and well-organized. I highly recommend this tour for anyone looking to explore Panama City!

Did not meet my expectations - Of the 4 points of visit marked on the tour, only 3 were made. The building called ACP we didn't even see. If you want to visit the canal, take a taxi and do it on your own.

Not great - No water, chips or van. Nice guide. Overpriced. Needed more details up front on city tour. Price should have included meal or Panama canal admission.
