3 days of tours - We were a group of 8 extended family members. We spent 3 days with Barefoot Panama. We did the Canal and City tour, the Monkey Island & Indigenous village and finally, the Caribbean Adventure. We were lucky enough to have Gonzo for our tour guide the first 2 days. Gonzo was great at giving us more and more information about our locations, the history of the places or the people we met. These were 2 fantastic days. Our Caribbean Adventure was enjoyable, but we did not realize the amount of driving around that we had to do. We were gone from our hotel for 12 hours. The smirking was just ok, but the zip line was great. Juan was a good guide, but we got very little information outside of the basics. We stayed at the Westin Playa Bonita and that made this day a lot longer because of traffic delays getting back. Overall, Barefoot was a great experience.

Professional and informative - Excellent tour! Gonzo was a terrific guide and we genuinely enjoyed our tour with him. He was punctual and gave over a lot of information.

Best of the Best!! - I've been on several tours in several countries. This was by far the best. Most experienced tour group I have ever seen. If you want to see Panama City, the Canal, and Old Town, book this tour. They can handle small groups and groups of 100 or more.

Panama City Tour. - Jose was awesome. We were a little crowded in the car, but we made it work. The actual tour was great, saw a great deal of the city and surrounding area. The canal exhibit and show was first class. And Jose took us to an authentic Panamanian restaurant for an incredible lunch. I would do this tour with them again. Gonzo Was the Best! - We were looking for a short day tour of Panama City before our trip to Bocas del Tory and Barefoot Panama was recommended to us by our hotel in Bocas. Kevin was helpful in making sure the tour length could be accommodated in our schedule, and then happily moved our tour to a different day when our airline travel from the States changed unexpectedly. Gonzo was our tour guide and we couldn't have been happier. He provided so much history and background context for the sights we visited, starting with the Panama Canal. When the van unexpectedly broke down, he was so mortified, but quickly a second driver was arranged to take us to the Smithsonian Center, and then Gonzo met back up with us in Casco to lead us on, again, a very informative walking tour of the area. I definitely recommend Barefoot Panama and ask if you can get Gonzo as your guide - he was great!!!!

Great City Tour! - This is an excellent tour of some of the key sites in Panama City. Gonzo was a wonderful guide - he speaks perfect English and has so much information and knowledge to share about the canal, Panamanian history, wildlife and nature. While you can visit the Canal visitor center on your own, we appreciated having Gonzo with us to explain more in depth about the locks and history. The visit to Punta Culebra was great for our kids -- the highlight was seeing so many sloths! Gonzo's knowledge of Casco Viejo was also incredible and doing this tour with him on our first day was helpful to orient us to the neighborhood we were staying in. Great communication all around during the booking process, timely pick-up, and very professional company. I highly recommend this tour and Barefoot Panama!

The hospitality & personal attention from Barefoot Panama set the tone for a perfect day in Panama City! - The personal attention was fantastic. Jorge picked us up at the airport and drove us around town while he kept track of the schedule for ships to go through the Panama Canal. There was some type of traffic jam at the Canal. He took us to a place at the mall called El Trapiche for lunch and I was very hesitant because I asked for authentic Panamanian food. He said "trust me" and I'm so glad I did! Everyone dining was a local and the food was delicious! He walked with us around Casco Viejo, including a fabulous coffee shop called Unido. We finally made our way to the Panama Canal just as a huge cargo ship was making its way through the channels. Perfect timing by Jorge! He then dropped us off at our hotel. The price included airport pickup, Panama Canel & iMax movie, plus a personal tour guide. We only spent 1 day in Panama City, and it was perfect. Highly recommend!!

Really pleased with my tour! - First of all, I need to let you know that I had only 4 hours to make a tour, as I had an 8 hour layover in Panama...so I was really pleased to be able to make my own choices of what I wanted to see and do. The pick up and the drop off at the airport was seamless. I didn't have to wait, Kevin was waiting for me. I really liked the walking tour of the city and also the IMAX of the Panama Canal. It was perfect for the time that I had, and I felt really secure as a solo female traveller. I would definitely recommend.
