Amazing Experience!! - Amazing experience, our foodie trip to Panama was off the charts! It felt like we hit the jackpot with every meal we had. From scarfing down the freshest ceviche to devouring some seriously comforting guaucho. And remember that passion fruit dessert! Absolute game-changer! Panama's food scene totally blew our minds. If you're up for an epic adventure with your crew, this is the spot to hit! Trust me, you won't regret it!

gastronomy tour experience - I had an unforgettable experience within the different places visited on the tour. I got to know the exquisite gastronomy in Mexico City and all that I can say is; they really put in the best of the Mexican cuisine! The mixture of delicate savors on each plate made this experience extraordinary! I'll go back home with a smile on my face, yearning to come back again next year. Thank you!

Truly regret not being able to rank this as 5 stars. - Would have ranked 5 stars, but for two incidents. The food was a delight and the Argentinian chef/guide a treasure. Her knowledge, insights and recommendations made this tour very special and memorable. She is kind, considerate and just a lovely person. Let me hit a couple observations. This Foodie tour is very much a walking tour too and you must be prepared for that. In the midday, scorching sun it can be a bit overwhelming trekking around town if you are not prepared for that. Thankfully, we were. The biggest negative here is the lack of direction as to exactly where to meet. The confirmation tells you the general location but not specific. The uber dropped us off at the Fish Market concession/restaurant stands. Avoid them at all cost. Walking amongst these various stand you are constantly barraged with aggressive hosts at the various concessions promoting their stand. Pushing their respective menu cards right in your face. One after another as you search for your tour start. I can't tell you how oppressive and off-putting this was. t was intrusive and intimidating and very annoying The phone number provided by tour didn't connect when i needed help. We showed the confirmation ticket to several and none were helpful. Finally we asked the parking attendant and he couldn't speak English (and we don't speak Spanish) but he went and got a kind english-speaking waiter that said the only place it could possibly be then was at the entrance to the actual fish market, which it was. I was prepared to leave and forget the whole tour, not worth the stress. A big error on behalf of the organizing people, not the tour guide. Not what i came here for. From there on it was a joy to experience everything offered on this tour. Exactly as described was terrific, except for my issue number 2: the main course we were to have was to have been at Lo que Hay restaurant. Fortunately we had eaten there the night before and it was a nightmare. We weren't welcome and they reluctantly seated us in a half-full restaurant because we didn't have a reservation, the waiter didn't speak english (had we been spanish i feel it would have been different),full of attitude and we were not being in the least unreasonable. We are not jerks. Then, without waiter assistance in our selections, the food was awful (except for tomato salad-excellent): the mashed potatoes with gravy was like gluttonous soup, inedible, it flowed off a spoon. Gross. The main course of this tour was to have been served here at this restaurant and we refused to return. This would have been a challenge for any tour guide but she graciously respected our wishes and found an alternative restaurant. That's it. A great tour and i'm glad we ran into that kind waiter so i didn't have to leave that nightmare of a cornucopia of fish market food stands. Have the tour director tell you precisely where to meet and you'll be fine. 5 stars except for those incidents which can easily be resolved. Learned much during the tour too. thank you for that.
