Chagres River - Embark on a unique adventure in Panama, combining kayaking, hiking, and cultural experiences in the breathtaking rainforest. Your journey starts with a convenient pick-up from your accommodation in downtown Panama City or Casco Viejo. After a 50-minute van ride, you’ll arrive at the Chagres River’s edge. A canoe will transport you to a higher point for the kayaking adventure. As you paddle along the river, the current will assist you, making this adventure suitable for those with no prior kayaking experience.
Chagres National Park - During the trip, we’ll take a 20-minute hike through the verdant rainforest, leading to a pristine waterfall. Swimming in this natural oasis is a refreshing way to connect with nature! Afterward, we’ll return to the kayaks, navigating through mud, sand, and slippery rocks along the same trail.
Once back in the kayaks, we’ll continue our journey down the river to an Embera tribe village. Here, you’ll enjoy a traditional lunch and have the chance to change into dry clothes in the available bathrooms before exploring their exquisite handicrafts.
After a day filled with adventure and cultural immersion, a canoe will take us back to the van. Relax and unwind as we return you to your accommodation.
