• Gatun Lake - We will board a boat and navigate on Gatun Lake next to the huge ships that cross the Panama Canal. We will admire the fauna and vegetation of the tropical forest.
• Gamboa - After our boat trip in Gatun Lake we will visit the Sloth Sanctuary to watch three-toed and two-toed sloths that have been rescued. We will learn about life and habits of the sloths and the efforts for the conservation of the species through the volunteers and specialized guides.

Later we will go to the Butterfly House where we will observe the butterflies that live in the rainforest such as the colorful Blue Morpho Butterfly. We will also visit the orchid and frog exhibitions.

This journey provides a distinctive opportunity to engage with the rich variety of nature found in the Panamanian rainforest by partaking in a boat excursion on Gatun Lake where you can see creatures such as crocodiles, toucans, hawks, turtles, butterflies, and many others. You’ll sail the Panama Canal alongside massive ships as well. The adventure continues with a visit to the Sloth Sanctuary, where you’ll gain knowledge about the preservation and reintroduction of sloths back into their native habitat. Lastly, the itinerary includes a visit to the butterfly garden where the renowned Blue Morpho butterfly can be seen.
