Great time, great guide. - Maria was a fun guide. We hiked to the waterfall first. Make sure to wear foot protection that can get wet. You will have to walk a little in the river to get there. Wear swimsuit and you can get close to the waterfall. The Embara village was very interesting, the food was good, and then you can watch some traditional dance while the men play instruments. We are so glad we did this excursion and Maria was a great guide

An Exceptional Day on the Chagres with the Embera Community - Embera Village and and Waterfalls was the best day of our stay in Panama. Aura was lovely and so informative. We boarded a handcrafted wooden canoe and boated up the beautiful and clean Chagres River with two community members. We hiked through a shallow river to the gorgeous waterfall. (Bring water shoes and a bathing suit!) Next we boated to the village and met the beautiful people of the Embera Community. They talked to us about their story and customs. They then prepared a lunch of tilapia and plantains that was delicious. We also listened to their music and danced with them. This was truly a special day and Aura was an exceptional Guide. I STRONGLY recommend this tour - do NOT miss it! Five hundred stars!! 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

10/10 recommend, ask for Richard! - I am so glad we did this! The people are so friendly and the hike to the waterfall was beautiful. Richard, our tour guide is very knowledgeable and taught us so many things about Panama's history. In my quest for knowledge, I asked what felt like 100 excited questions and he was just as excited to answer. My favorite part of this tour, was getting my jagua fruit tattoo (temporary) Thank you for being such amazing hosts. Bia bua!

Superb experience! Amazing! - Our experience was amazing. We really enjoyed the Indigenous community and Rafeal was so knowledgeable, helpful and attentive On our way to the Embera village, he gave us an amazing history of Panama. He made sure we were all comfortable and safe on the canoe and enjoyed our experience. If I could rate him a 10 I would. Our driver was also amazing driving in the rain storm. The indigenous show was amazing and an unforgettable experience for all ages. My children- 10 and 4 years both enjoyed it. This was truly and amazing and unforgettable experience for my family and I visiting from California, USA.
