The excursion begins with a 30-minute drive to the Miraflores Locks, where visitors can observe the massive vessels navigating the Panama Canal. The busiest times are from 9 am to 11 am and from 2 pm to 5 pm, providing ample opportunity to witness ships being raised or lowered 16 meters in two distinct stages. Guests will enjoy the view from a sheltered terrace while listening to the guide’s explanations.
