To begin this tour, the journey will take us through Soberania National Park on the way to the Town of Gamboa. During this drive, there will be opportunities to stop and observe sloths in their natural habitat. The route follows the Panama Canal north to Gamboa, where the Chagres River converges with the canal. Participants will ride along the Panama Canal waters, right beside the ships navigating towards the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. The destination is Gatun Lake, where a cruise around islands formed during the canal’s construction will reveal the rich wildlife along its shores. Visitors can see capuchins, howlers, and tamarins up close in their natural environment. After completing the canal and lake boat ride, which lasts approximately 1.5 hours, the tour will return to Panama City for a hotel drop-off.
